Competition
بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful
أَلْهَىٰكُمُdiverts you ٱلتَّكَاثُرُthe competition to increase١ Āyah 1
حَتَّىٰuntil زُرْتُمُyou visit ٱلْمَقَابِرَthe graves٢ Āyah 2
كَلَّاnay سَوْفَsoon تَعْلَمُونَyou will know٣ Āyah 3
ثُمَّthen كَلَّاnay سَوْفَsoon تَعْلَمُونَyou will know٤ Āyah 4
كَلَّاnay لَوْif تَعْلَمُونَyou know عِلْمَ(with) a knowledge ٱلْيَقِينِ(of) certainty٥ Āyah 5
لَتَرَوُنَّsurely you will see ٱلْجَحِيمَthe hellfire٦ Āyah 6
ثُمَّthen لَتَرَوُنَّهَاsurely you will see it عَيْنَ(with the) eye ٱلْيَقِينِ(of) certainty٧ Āyah 7
ثُمَّthen لَتُسْـَٔلُنَّsurely you will be asked يَوْمَئِذٍthat day عَنِabout ٱلنَّعِيمِthe pleasures٨ Āyah 8
