الصافات

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

وَٱلصَّٰٓفَّٰتِby those lined صَفًّا(in) rows۝١ Āyah 1

فَٱلزَّٰجِرَٰتِand those who drive زَجْرًاstrongly۝٢ Āyah 2

فَٱلتَّٰلِيَٰتِand those who ذِكْرًا(the) message۝٣ Āyah 3

إِنَّindeed إِلَٰهَكُمْyour lord لَوَٰحِدٌ(is) surely one۝٤ Āyah 4

رَّبُّlord ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِand the earth وَمَاand what بَيْنَهُمَا(is) between both of them وَرَبُّand lord ٱلْمَشَٰرِقِ(of) each point of sunrise۝٥ Āyah 5

إِنَّاindeed we زَيَّنَّا[we] adorned ٱلسَّمَآءَthe sky ٱلدُّنْيَا[the world] بِزِينَةٍwith an adornment ٱلْكَوَاكِبِ(of) the stars۝٦ Āyah 6

وَحِفْظًاand (to) guard مِّنagainst كُلِّevery شَيْطَٰنٍdevil مَّارِدٍrebellious۝٧ Āyah 7

لَّاnot يَسَّمَّعُونَthey may listen إِلَىto ٱلْمَلَإِthe assembly ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ[the] exalted وَيُقْذَفُونَare pelted مِنfrom كُلِّevery جَانِبٍside۝٨ Āyah 8

دُحُورًاrepelled; وَلَهُمْand for them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment وَاصِبٌperpetual۝٩ Āyah 9

إِلَّاexcept مَنْ(him) who خَطِفَsnatches ٱلْخَطْفَةَ(by) theft فَأَتْبَعَهُۥbut follows him شِهَابٌa burning flame ثَاقِبٌpiercing۝١٠ Āyah 10

فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْthen ask them أَهُمْare they أَشَدُّa stronger خَلْقًاcreation أَمor مَّنْ(those) whom خَلَقْنَآwe have created إِنَّاindeed we خَلَقْنَٰهُمcreated them مِّنfrom طِينٍa clay لَّازِبٍۭsticky۝١١ Āyah 11

بَلْnay عَجِبْتَyou wonder وَيَسْخَرُونَwhile they mock۝١٢ Āyah 12

وَإِذَاand when ذُكِّرُوا۟they are reminded لَاnot يَذْكُرُونَthey receive admonition۝١٣ Āyah 13

وَإِذَاand when رَأَوْا۟they see ءَايَةًa sign يَسْتَسْخِرُونَthey mock۝١٤ Āyah 14

وَقَالُوٓا۟and they say إِنْnot هَٰذَآ(is) this إِلَّاexcept سِحْرٌa magic مُّبِينٌclear۝١٥ Āyah 15

أَءِذَاis it when مِتْنَاwe are dead وَكُنَّاand have become تُرَابًاdust وَعِظَٰمًاand bones أَءِنَّاshall we then لَمَبْعُوثُونَbe certainly resurrected۝١٦ Āyah 16

أَوَءَابَآؤُنَاor our fathers ٱلْأَوَّلُونَformer۝١٧ Āyah 17

قُلْsay نَعَمْyes وَأَنتُمْand you دَٰخِرُونَ(will be) humiliated۝١٨ Āyah 18

فَإِنَّمَاthen only هِىَit زَجْرَةٌ(will be) a cry وَٰحِدَةٌsingle فَإِذَاthen behold هُمْthey يَنظُرُونَwill see۝١٩ Āyah 19

وَقَالُوا۟and they will say يَٰوَيْلَنَاo woe to us هَٰذَاthis يَوْمُ(is the) day ٱلدِّينِ(of) the recompense۝٢٠ Āyah 20

هَٰذَاthis يَوْمُ(is the) day ٱلْفَصْلِ(of) judgment ٱلَّذِىwhich كُنتُمyou used to بِهِۦ[of it] تُكَذِّبُونَdeny۝٢١ Āyah 21
