سبإ

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

ٱلْحَمْدُall praises لِلَّهِ(be) to allah ٱلَّذِىthe one to whom belongs لَهُۥthe one to whom belongs مَاwhatever فِى(is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand whatever فِى(is) in ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth وَلَهُand for him ٱلْحَمْدُ(are) all praises فِىin ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِthe hereafter وَهُوَand he ٱلْحَكِيمُ(is) the all wise ٱلْخَبِيرُthe all aware۝١ Āyah 1

يَعْلَمُhe knows مَاwhat يَلِجُpenetrates فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth وَمَاand what يَخْرُجُcomes out مِنْهَاfrom it وَمَاand what يَنزِلُdescends مِنَfrom ٱلسَّمَآءِthe heaven وَمَاand what يَعْرُجُascends فِيهَاtherein وَهُوَand he ٱلرَّحِيمُ(is) the most merciful ٱلْغَفُورُthe oft forgiving۝٢ Āyah 2

وَقَالَbut say ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieve لَاnot تَأْتِينَاwill come to us ٱلسَّاعَةُthe hour قُلْsay بَلَىٰnay وَرَبِّىby my lord لَتَأْتِيَنَّكُمْsurely it will come to you عَٰلِمِ(he is the) knower ٱلْغَيْبِ(of) the unseen لَاnot يَعْزُبُescapes عَنْهُfrom him مِثْقَالُ(the) weight ذَرَّةٍ(of) an atom فِىin ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَلَاand not فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth وَلَآand not أَصْغَرُsmaller مِنthan ذَٰلِكَthat وَلَآand not أَكْبَرُgreater إِلَّاbut فِى(is) in كِتَٰبٍa record مُّبِينٍclear۝٣ Āyah 3

لِّيَجْزِىَthat he may reward ٱلَّذِينَthose who ءَامَنُوا۟believe وَعَمِلُوا۟and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِrighteous deeds أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose لَهُمfor them مَّغْفِرَةٌ(will be) forgiveness وَرِزْقٌand a provision كَرِيمٌnoble۝٤ Āyah 4

وَٱلَّذِينَbut those who سَعَوْstrive فِىٓagainst ءَايَٰتِنَاour verses مُعَٰجِزِينَ(to) cause failure أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose لَهُمْfor them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment مِّنof رِّجْزٍfoul nature أَلِيمٌpainful۝٥ Āyah 5

وَيَرَىand see ٱلَّذِينَthose who أُوتُوا۟have been given ٱلْعِلْمَthe knowledge ٱلَّذِىٓ(that) what أُنزِلَis revealed إِلَيْكَto you مِنfrom رَّبِّكَyour lord هُوَ[it] ٱلْحَقَّ(is) the truth وَيَهْدِىٓand it guides إِلَىٰto صِرَٰطِ(the) path ٱلْعَزِيزِ(of) the all mighty ٱلْحَمِيدِthe praiseworthy۝٦ Āyah 6

وَقَالَbut say ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieve هَلْshall نَدُلُّكُمْwe direct you عَلَىٰto رَجُلٍa man يُنَبِّئُكُمْwho informs you إِذَاwhen مُزِّقْتُمْyou have disintegrated كُلَّ(in) total مُمَزَّقٍdisintegration إِنَّكُمْindeed you لَفِىsurely (will be) in خَلْقٍa creation جَدِيدٍnew۝٧ Āyah 7

أَفْتَرَىٰhas he invented عَلَىabout ٱللَّهِallah كَذِبًاa lie أَمor بِهِۦin him جِنَّةٌۢ(is) madness بَلِnay ٱلَّذِينَthose who لَا(do) not يُؤْمِنُونَbelieve بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِin the hereafter فِى(will be) in ٱلْعَذَابِthe punishment وَٱلضَّلَٰلِand error ٱلْبَعِيدِfar۝٨ Āyah 8

أَفَلَمْthen do not يَرَوْا۟they see إِلَىٰtowards مَاwhat بَيْنَ(is) before them أَيْدِيهِمْ(is) before them وَمَاand what خَلْفَهُم(is) behind them مِّنَof ٱلسَّمَآءِthe heaven وَٱلْأَرْضِand the earth إِنif نَّشَأْwe will نَخْسِفْwe (could) cause to swallow them بِهِمُwe (could) cause to swallow them ٱلْأَرْضَthe earth أَوْor نُسْقِطْcause to fall عَلَيْهِمْupon them كِسَفًاfragments مِّنَfrom ٱلسَّمَآءِthe sky إِنَّindeed فِىin ذَٰلِكَthat لَـَٔايَةًsurely is a sign لِّكُلِّfor every عَبْدٍslave مُّنِيبٍwho turns (to allah)۝٩ Āyah 9
