الأنفال

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

يَسْـَٔلُونَكَthey ask you عَنِabout ٱلْأَنفَالِthe spoils of war قُلِsay ٱلْأَنفَالُthe spoils of war لِلَّهِ(are) for allah وَٱلرَّسُولِand the messenger فَٱتَّقُوا۟so fear ٱللَّهَallah وَأَصْلِحُوا۟and set right ذَاتَthat بَيْنِكُمْ(which is) between you وَأَطِيعُوا۟and obey allah ٱللَّهَand obey allah وَرَسُولَهُۥٓand his messenger إِنif كُنتُمyou are مُّؤْمِنِينَbelievers۝١ Āyah 1

إِنَّمَاonly ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَthe believers ٱلَّذِينَ(are) those who إِذَاwhen ذُكِرَallah is mentioned ٱللَّهُallah is mentioned وَجِلَتْfeel fear قُلُوبُهُمْtheir hearts وَإِذَاand when تُلِيَتْare recited عَلَيْهِمْto them ءَايَٰتُهُۥhis verses زَادَتْهُمْthey increase them إِيمَٰنًا(in) faith وَعَلَىٰand upon رَبِّهِمْtheir lord يَتَوَكَّلُونَthey put their trust۝٢ Āyah 2

ٱلَّذِينَthose who يُقِيمُونَestablish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَthe prayer وَمِمَّاand out of what رَزَقْنَٰهُمْwe have provided them يُنفِقُونَthey spend۝٣ Āyah 3

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose هُمُthey are ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَthe believers حَقًّا(in) truth لَّهُمْfor them دَرَجَٰتٌ(are) ranks عِندَwith رَبِّهِمْtheir lord وَمَغْفِرَةٌand forgiveness وَرِزْقٌand a provision كَرِيمٌnoble۝٤ Āyah 4

كَمَآas أَخْرَجَكَbrought you out رَبُّكَyour lord مِنۢfrom your home بَيْتِكَfrom your home بِٱلْحَقِّin truth وَإِنَّwhile indeed فَرِيقًاa party مِّنَamong ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believers لَكَٰرِهُونَcertainly disliked۝٥ Āyah 5

يُجَٰدِلُونَكَthey dispute with you فِىconcerning ٱلْحَقِّthe truth بَعْدَ مَاafter what تَبَيَّنَwas made clear كَأَنَّمَاas if يُسَاقُونَthey were driven إِلَىto ٱلْمَوْتِ[the] death وَهُمْwhile they يَنظُرُونَ(were) looking۝٦ Āyah 6

وَإِذْand when يَعِدُكُمُallah promised you ٱللَّهُallah promised you إِحْدَىone ٱلطَّآئِفَتَيْنِ(of) the two groups أَنَّهَاthat it (would be) لَكُمْfor you وَتَوَدُّونَand you wished أَنَّthat غَيْرَ(one) other than ذَاتِthe armed ٱلشَّوْكَةِthe armed تَكُونُwould be لَكُمْfor you وَيُرِيدُbut allah intended ٱللَّهُbut allah intended أَنto justify يُحِقَّto justify ٱلْحَقَّthe truth بِكَلِمَٰتِهِۦby his words وَيَقْطَعَand cut off دَابِرَ(the) roots ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ(of) the disbelievers۝٧ Āyah 7

لِيُحِقَّthat he might justify ٱلْحَقَّthe truth وَيُبْطِلَand prove false ٱلْبَٰطِلَthe falsehood وَلَوْeven if كَرِهَdisliked (it) ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَthe criminals۝٨ Āyah 8

إِذْwhen تَسْتَغِيثُونَyou were seeking help رَبَّكُمْ(of) your lord فَٱسْتَجَابَand he answered لَكُمْ[to] you أَنِّىindeed i am مُمِدُّكُمgoing to reinforce you بِأَلْفٍwith a thousand مِّنَof ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِthe angels مُرْدِفِينَone after another۝٩ Āyah 9

وَمَاand not جَعَلَهُallah made it ٱللَّهُallah made it إِلَّاbut بُشْرَىٰgood tidings وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّand so that might be at rest بِهِۦwith it قُلُوبُكُمْyour hearts وَمَاand (there is) no ٱلنَّصْرُ[the] victory إِلَّاexcept مِنْfrom عِندِfrom ٱللَّهِallah إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah عَزِيزٌ(is) all mighty حَكِيمٌall wise۝١٠ Āyah 10
