الملك

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

تَبَٰرَكَblessed is ٱلَّذِىhe بِيَدِهِin whose hand ٱلْمُلْكُ(is) the dominion وَهُوَand he عَلَىٰ(is) over كُلِّevery شَىْءٍthing قَدِيرٌall powerful۝١ Āyah 1

ٱلَّذِىthe one who خَلَقَcreated ٱلْمَوْتَdeath وَٱلْحَيَوٰةَand life لِيَبْلُوَكُمْthat he may test you أَيُّكُمْwhich of you أَحْسَنُ(is) best عَمَلًا(in) deed وَهُوَand he ٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the all mighty ٱلْغَفُورُthe oft forgiving۝٢ Āyah 2

ٱلَّذِىthe one who خَلَقَcreated سَبْعَseven سَمَٰوَٰتٍheavens طِبَاقًاone above another مَّاnot تَرَىٰyou see فِىin خَلْقِ(the) creation ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ(of) the most gracious مِنany تَفَٰوُتٍfault فَٱرْجِعِso return ٱلْبَصَرَthe vision هَلْcan تَرَىٰyou see مِنany فُطُورٍflaw۝٣ Āyah 3

ثُمَّthen ٱرْجِعِreturn ٱلْبَصَرَthe vision كَرَّتَيْنِtwice (again) يَنقَلِبْwill return إِلَيْكَto you ٱلْبَصَرُthe vision خَاسِئًاhumbled وَهُوَwhile it حَسِيرٌ(is) fatigued۝٤ Āyah 4

وَلَقَدْand certainly زَيَّنَّاwe have beautified ٱلسَّمَآءَthe heaven ٱلدُّنْيَاnearest بِمَصَٰبِيحَwith lamps وَجَعَلْنَٰهَاand we have made them رُجُومًا(as) missiles لِّلشَّيَٰطِينِfor the devils وَأَعْتَدْنَاand we have prepared لَهُمْfor them عَذَابَpunishment ٱلسَّعِيرِ(of) the blaze۝٥ Āyah 5

وَلِلَّذِينَand for those who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieved بِرَبِّهِمْin their lord عَذَابُ(is the) punishment جَهَنَّمَ(of) hell وَبِئْسَand wretched is ٱلْمَصِيرُthe destination۝٦ Āyah 6

إِذَآwhen أُلْقُوا۟they are thrown فِيهَاtherein سَمِعُوا۟they will hear لَهَاfrom it شَهِيقًاan inhaling وَهِىَwhile it تَفُورُboils up۝٧ Āyah 7

تَكَادُit almost تَمَيَّزُbursts مِنَfrom ٱلْغَيْظِrage كُلَّمَآevery time أُلْقِىَis thrown فِيهَاtherein فَوْجٌa group سَأَلَهُمْ(will) ask them خَزَنَتُهَآits keepers أَلَمْdid not يَأْتِكُمْcome to you نَذِيرٌa warner۝٨ Āyah 8

قَالُوا۟they will say بَلَىٰyes قَدْindeed جَآءَنَاcame to us نَذِيرٌa warner فَكَذَّبْنَاbut we denied وَقُلْنَاand we said مَاnot نَزَّلَhas sent down ٱللَّهُallah مِنany شَىْءٍthing إِنْnot أَنتُمْyou (are) إِلَّاbut فِىin ضَلَٰلٍerror كَبِيرٍgreat۝٩ Āyah 9

وَقَالُوا۟and they will say لَوْif كُنَّاwe had نَسْمَعُlistened أَوْor نَعْقِلُreasoned مَاnot كُنَّاwe (would) have been فِىٓamong أَصْحَٰبِ(the) companions ٱلسَّعِيرِ(of) the blaze۝١٠ Āyah 10

فَٱعْتَرَفُوا۟then they (will) confess بِذَنۢبِهِمْtheir sins فَسُحْقًاso away with لِّأَصْحَٰبِ(the) companions ٱلسَّعِيرِ(of) the blaze۝١١ Āyah 11

إِنَّindeed ٱلَّذِينَthose who يَخْشَوْنَfear رَبَّهُمtheir lord بِٱلْغَيْبِunseen لَهُمfor them مَّغْفِرَةٌ(is) forgiveness وَأَجْرٌand a reward كَبِيرٌgreat۝١٢ Āyah 12

وَأَسِرُّوا۟and conceal قَوْلَكُمْyour speech أَوِor ٱجْهَرُوا۟proclaim بِهِۦٓit إِنَّهُۥindeed he عَلِيمٌۢ(is the) all knower بِذَاتِof what (is in) ٱلصُّدُورِthe breasts۝١٣ Āyah 13

أَلَاdoes not يَعْلَمُknow مَنْ(the one) who خَلَقَcreated وَهُوَand he ٱللَّطِيفُ(is) the subtle ٱلْخَبِيرُthe all aware۝١٤ Āyah 14
