العنكبوت

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

الٓمٓalif laam meem۝١ Āyah 1

أَحَسِبَdo think ٱلنَّاسُthe people أَنthat يُتْرَكُوٓا۟they will be left أَنbecause يَقُولُوٓا۟they say ءَامَنَّاwe believe وَهُمْand they لَاwill not be tested يُفْتَنُونَwill not be tested۝٢ Āyah 2

وَلَقَدْand indeed فَتَنَّاwe tested ٱلَّذِينَthose who مِن(were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ(were) before them فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّand allah will surely make evident ٱللَّهُand allah will surely make evident ٱلَّذِينَthose who صَدَقُوا۟(are) truthful وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّand he will surely make evident ٱلْكَٰذِبِينَthe liars۝٣ Āyah 3

أَمْor حَسِبَthink ٱلَّذِينَthose who يَعْمَلُونَdo ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِevil deeds أَنthat يَسْبِقُونَاthey can outrun us سَآءَevil is مَاwhat يَحْكُمُونَthey judge۝٤ Āyah 4

مَنwhoever كَانَ[is] يَرْجُوا۟hopes لِقَآءَ(for the) meeting ٱللَّهِ(with) allah فَإِنَّthen indeed أَجَلَ(the) term ٱللَّهِ(of) allah لَـَٔاتٍ(is) surely coming وَهُوَand he ٱلسَّمِيعُ(is) the all hearer ٱلْعَلِيمُthe all knower۝٥ Āyah 5

وَمَنand whoever جَٰهَدَstrives فَإِنَّمَاthen only يُجَٰهِدُhe strives لِنَفْسِهِۦٓfor himself إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah لَغَنِىٌّ(is) free from need عَنِof ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَthe worlds۝٦ Āyah 6

وَٱلَّذِينَand those who ءَامَنُوا۟believe وَعَمِلُوا۟and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِrighteous (deeds) لَنُكَفِّرَنَّsurely we will remove عَنْهُمْfrom them سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْtheir evil deeds وَلَنَجْزِيَنَّهُمْand we will surely reward them أَحْسَنَ(the) best ٱلَّذِى(of) what كَانُوا۟they used يَعْمَلُونَ(to) do۝٧ Āyah 7

وَوَصَّيْنَاand we have enjoined ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ(on) man بِوَٰلِدَيْهِgoodness to his parents حُسْنًاgoodness to his parents وَإِنbut if جَٰهَدَاكَthey both strive against you لِتُشْرِكَto make you associate بِىwith me مَاwhat لَيْسَnot لَكَyou have بِهِۦof it عِلْمٌany knowledge فَلَاthen (do) not تُطِعْهُمَآobey both of them إِلَىَّto me مَرْجِعُكُمْ(is) your return فَأُنَبِّئُكُمand i will inform you بِمَاabout what كُنتُمْyou used تَعْمَلُونَ(to) do۝٨ Āyah 8

وَٱلَّذِينَand those who ءَامَنُوا۟believe وَعَمِلُوا۟and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِrighteous deeds لَنُدْخِلَنَّهُمْwe will surely admit them فِىamong ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَthe righteous۝٩ Āyah 9

وَمِنَand of ٱلنَّاسِthe people مَن(is he) who يَقُولُsays ءَامَنَّاwe believe بِٱللَّهِin allah فَإِذَآbut when أُوذِىَhe is harmed فِىin ٱللَّهِ(the way of) allah جَعَلَhe considers فِتْنَةَ(the) trial ٱلنَّاسِ(of) the people كَعَذَابِas (the) punishment ٱللَّهِ(of) allah وَلَئِنbut if جَآءَcomes نَصْرٌvictory مِّنfrom رَّبِّكَyour lord لَيَقُولُنَّsurely they say إِنَّاindeed we كُنَّاwere مَعَكُمْwith you أَوَلَيْسَis not ٱللَّهُallah بِأَعْلَمَmost knowing بِمَاof what فِى(is) in صُدُورِ(the) breasts ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ(of) the worlds۝١٠ Āyah 10

وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّand allah will surely make evident ٱللَّهُand allah will surely make evident ٱلَّذِينَthose who ءَامَنُوا۟believe وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّand he will surely make evident ٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَthe hypocrites۝١١ Āyah 11

وَقَالَand said ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieve لِلَّذِينَto those who ءَامَنُوا۟believe ٱتَّبِعُوا۟follow سَبِيلَنَاour way وَلْنَحْمِلْand we will carry خَطَٰيَٰكُمْyour sins وَمَاbut not هُمthey بِحَٰمِلِينَ(are) going to carry مِنْof خَطَٰيَٰهُمtheir sins مِّنany شَىْءٍthing إِنَّهُمْindeed they لَكَٰذِبُونَ(are) surely liars۝١٢ Āyah 12

وَلَيَحْمِلُنَّbut surely they will carry أَثْقَالَهُمْtheir burdens وَأَثْقَالًاand burdens مَّعَwith أَثْقَالِهِمْtheir burdens وَلَيُسْـَٔلُنَّand surely they will be questioned يَوْمَ(on the) day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ(of) the resurrection عَمَّاabout what كَانُوا۟they used يَفْتَرُونَ(to) invent۝١٣ Āyah 13
