الطارق

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

وَٱلسَّمَآءِby the sky وَٱلطَّارِقِand the night comer۝١ Āyah 1

وَمَآand what أَدْرَىٰكَcan make you know مَاwhat ٱلطَّارِقُthe night comer (is)۝٢ Āyah 2

ٱلنَّجْمُ(it is) the star ٱلثَّاقِبُthe piercing۝٣ Āyah 3

إِنnot كُلُّ(is) every نَفْسٍsoul لَّمَّاbut عَلَيْهَاover it حَافِظٌ(is) a protector۝٤ Āyah 4

فَلْيَنظُرِso let see ٱلْإِنسَٰنُman مِمَّfrom what خُلِقَhe is created۝٥ Āyah 5

خُلِقَhe is created مِنfrom مَّآءٍa water دَافِقٍejected۝٦ Āyah 6

يَخْرُجُcoming forth مِنۢfrom بَيْنِbetween ٱلصُّلْبِthe backbone وَٱلتَّرَآئِبِand the ribs۝٧ Āyah 7

إِنَّهُۥindeed he عَلَىٰto رَجْعِهِۦreturn him لَقَادِرٌ(is) able۝٨ Āyah 8

يَوْمَ(the) day تُبْلَىwill be tested ٱلسَّرَآئِرُthe secrets۝٩ Āyah 9

فَمَاthen not لَهُۥ(is) for him مِنany قُوَّةٍpower وَلَاand not نَاصِرٍany helper۝١٠ Āyah 10

وَٱلسَّمَآءِby the sky ذَاتِwhich ٱلرَّجْعِreturns۝١١ Āyah 11

وَٱلْأَرْضِand the earth ذَاتِwhich ٱلصَّدْعِcracks open۝١٢ Āyah 12

إِنَّهُۥindeed it لَقَوْلٌ(is) surely a word فَصْلٌdecisive۝١٣ Āyah 13

وَمَاand not هُوَit بِٱلْهَزْلِ(is) for amusement۝١٤ Āyah 14

إِنَّهُمْindeed they يَكِيدُونَare plotting كَيْدًاa plot۝١٥ Āyah 15

وَأَكِيدُbut i am panning كَيْدًاa plan۝١٦ Āyah 16

فَمَهِّلِso give respite ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ(to) the disbelievers أَمْهِلْهُمْgive respite to them رُوَيْدًۢاlittle۝١٧ Āyah 17
