الضحى

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

وَٱلضُّحَىٰby the morning brightness۝١ Āyah 1

وَٱلَّيْلِand the night إِذَاwhen سَجَىٰit covers with darkness۝٢ Āyah 2

مَاnot وَدَّعَكَhas forsaken you رَبُّكَyour lord وَمَاand not قَلَىٰhe is displeased۝٣ Āyah 3

وَلَلْـَٔاخِرَةُand surely the hereafter خَيْرٌ(is) better لَّكَfor you مِنَthan ٱلْأُولَىٰthe first۝٤ Āyah 4

وَلَسَوْفَand soon يُعْطِيكَwill give you رَبُّكَyour lord فَتَرْضَىٰٓthen you will be satisfied۝٥ Āyah 5

أَلَمْdid not يَجِدْكَhe find you يَتِيمًاan orphan فَـَٔاوَىٰand give shelter۝٦ Āyah 6

وَوَجَدَكَand he found you ضَآلًّاlost فَهَدَىٰso he guided۝٧ Āyah 7

وَوَجَدَكَand he found you عَآئِلًاin need فَأَغْنَىٰso he made self sufficient۝٨ Āyah 8

فَأَمَّاso as for ٱلْيَتِيمَthe orphan فَلَاthen (do) not تَقْهَرْoppress۝٩ Āyah 9

وَأَمَّاand as for ٱلسَّآئِلَone who asks فَلَاthen (do) not تَنْهَرْrepel۝١٠ Āyah 10

وَأَمَّاbut as for بِنِعْمَةِ(the) favor رَبِّكَ(of) your lord فَحَدِّثْnarrate۝١١ Āyah 11
