الأحقاف

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

حمٓha meem۝١ Āyah 1

تَنزِيلُ(the) revelation ٱلْكِتَٰبِ(of) the book مِنَ(is) from ٱللَّهِallah ٱلْعَزِيزِthe all mighty ٱلْحَكِيمِthe all wise۝٢ Āyah 2

مَاnot خَلَقْنَاwe created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَand the earth وَمَاand what بَيْنَهُمَآ(is) between both of them إِلَّاexcept بِٱلْحَقِّin truth وَأَجَلٍand (for) a term مُّسَمًّىappointed وَٱلَّذِينَbut those who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieve عَمَّآfrom what أُنذِرُوا۟they are warned مُعْرِضُونَ(are) turning away۝٣ Āyah 3

قُلْsay أَرَءَيْتُمdo you see مَّاwhat تَدْعُونَyou call مِنbesides دُونِbesides ٱللَّهِallah أَرُونِىshow me مَاذَاwhat خَلَقُوا۟they have created مِنَof ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth أَمْor لَهُمْfor them شِرْكٌ(is) any share فِىin ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens ٱئْتُونِىbring me بِكِتَٰبٍa book مِّنbefore قَبْلِbefore هَٰذَآthis أَوْor أَثَٰرَةٍtraces مِّنْof عِلْمٍknowledge إِنif كُنتُمْyou are صَٰدِقِينَtruthful۝٤ Āyah 4

وَمَنْand who أَضَلُّ(is) more astray مِمَّنthan (he) who يَدْعُوا۟calls مِنbesides دُونِbesides ٱللَّهِallah مَنwho لَّاwill not respond يَسْتَجِيبُwill not respond لَهُۥٓto him إِلَىٰuntil يَوْمِ(the) day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ(of) resurrection وَهُمْand they عَنof دُعَآئِهِمْtheir calls غَٰفِلُونَ(are) unaware۝٥ Āyah 5

وَإِذَاand when حُشِرَare gathered ٱلنَّاسُthe people كَانُوا۟they will be لَهُمْfor them أَعْدَآءًenemies وَكَانُوا۟and they will be بِعِبَادَتِهِمْof their worship كَٰفِرِينَdeniers۝٦ Āyah 6

وَإِذَاand when تُتْلَىٰare recited عَلَيْهِمْto them ءَايَٰتُنَاour verses بَيِّنَٰتٍclear قَالَsay ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieve لِلْحَقِّof the truth لَمَّاwhen جَآءَهُمْit comes to them هَٰذَاthis سِحْرٌ(is) a magic مُّبِينٌclear۝٧ Āyah 7

أَمْor يَقُولُونَthey say ٱفْتَرَىٰهُhe has invented it قُلْsay إِنِif ٱفْتَرَيْتُهُۥi have invented it فَلَاthen not تَمْلِكُونَyou have power لِىfor me مِنَagainst ٱللَّهِallah شَيْـًٔاanything هُوَhe أَعْلَمُknows best بِمَاof what تُفِيضُونَyou utter فِيهِconcerning it كَفَىٰsufficient is he بِهِۦsufficient is he شَهِيدًۢا(as) a witness بَيْنِىbetween me وَبَيْنَكُمْand between you وَهُوَand he ٱلْغَفُورُ(is) the oft forgiving ٱلرَّحِيمُthe most merciful۝٨ Āyah 8

قُلْsay مَاnot كُنتُi am بِدْعًاa new (one) مِّنَamong ٱلرُّسُلِthe messengers وَمَآand not أَدْرِىi know مَاwhat يُفْعَلُwill be done بِىwith me وَلَاand not بِكُمْwith you إِنْnot أَتَّبِعُi follow إِلَّاbut مَاwhat يُوحَىٰٓis revealed إِلَىَّto me وَمَآand not أَنَا۠i am إِلَّاbut نَذِيرٌa warner مُّبِينٌclear۝٩ Āyah 9

قُلْsay أَرَءَيْتُمْdo you see إِنif كَانَit is مِنْfrom allah عِندِfrom allah ٱللَّهِfrom allah وَكَفَرْتُمand you disbelieve بِهِۦin it وَشَهِدَand testifies شَاهِدٌa witness مِّنۢfrom بَنِىٓ(the) children of israel إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ(the) children of israel عَلَىٰto مِثْلِهِۦ(the) like thereof فَـَٔامَنَthen he believed وَٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْwhile you are arrogant إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah لَا(does) not يَهْدِىguide ٱلْقَوْمَthe people ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَthe wrongdoers۝١٠ Āyah 10
