الأحقاف

وَقَالَand say ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieve لِلَّذِينَof those who ءَامَنُوا۟believe لَوْif كَانَit had been خَيْرًاgood مَّاnot سَبَقُونَآthey (would) have preceded us إِلَيْهِto it وَإِذْand when لَمْnot يَهْتَدُوا۟they (are) guided بِهِۦby it فَسَيَقُولُونَthey say هَٰذَآthis إِفْكٌ(is) a lie قَدِيمٌancient۝١١ Āyah 11

وَمِنand before it قَبْلِهِۦand before it كِتَٰبُ(was the) scripture مُوسَىٰٓ(of) musa إِمَامًا(as) a guide وَرَحْمَةًand a mercy وَهَٰذَاand this كِتَٰبٌ(is) a book مُّصَدِّقٌconfirming لِّسَانًا(in) language عَرَبِيًّاarabic لِّيُنذِرَto warn ٱلَّذِينَthose who ظَلَمُوا۟do wrong وَبُشْرَىٰand glad tidings لِلْمُحْسِنِينَfor the good doers۝١٢ Āyah 12

إِنَّindeed ٱلَّذِينَthose who قَالُوا۟say رَبُّنَاour lord ٱللَّهُ(is) allah ثُمَّthen ٱسْتَقَٰمُوا۟remain firm فَلَاthen no خَوْفٌfear عَلَيْهِمْon them وَلَاand not هُمْthey يَحْزَنُونَwill grieve۝١٣ Āyah 13

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose أَصْحَٰبُ(are the) companions ٱلْجَنَّةِ(of) paradise خَٰلِدِينَabiding forever فِيهَاtherein جَزَآءًۢa reward بِمَاfor what كَانُوا۟they used to يَعْمَلُونَdo۝١٤ Āyah 14

وَوَصَّيْنَاand we have enjoined ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ(on) man بِوَٰلِدَيْهِto his parents إِحْسَٰنًاkindness حَمَلَتْهُcarried him أُمُّهُۥhis mother كُرْهًا(with) hardship وَوَضَعَتْهُand gave birth to كُرْهًا(with) hardship وَحَمْلُهُۥand (the) bearing of him وَفِصَٰلُهُۥand (the) weaning of him ثَلَٰثُونَ(is) thirty شَهْرًاmonth(s) حَتَّىٰٓuntil إِذَاwhen بَلَغَhe reaches أَشُدَّهُۥhis maturity وَبَلَغَand reaches أَرْبَعِينَforty سَنَةًyear(s) قَالَhe says رَبِّmy lord أَوْزِعْنِىٓgrant me (the) power أَنْthat أَشْكُرَi may be grateful نِعْمَتَكَ(for) your favor ٱلَّتِىٓwhich أَنْعَمْتَyou have bestowed عَلَىَّupon me وَعَلَىٰand upon وَٰلِدَىَّmy parents وَأَنْand that أَعْمَلَi do صَٰلِحًاrighteous (deeds) تَرْضَىٰهُwhich please وَأَصْلِحْand make righteous لِىfor me فِىamong ذُرِّيَّتِىٓmy offspring إِنِّىindeed تُبْتُi turn إِلَيْكَto وَإِنِّىand indeed i am مِنَof ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَthose who submit۝١٥ Āyah 15

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose ٱلَّذِينَ(are) the ones نَتَقَبَّلُwe will accept عَنْهُمْfrom them أَحْسَنَ(the) best مَا(of) what عَمِلُوا۟they did وَنَتَجَاوَزُand we will overlook عَن[from] سَيِّـَٔاتِهِمْtheir evil deeds فِىٓamong أَصْحَٰبِ(the) companions ٱلْجَنَّةِ(of) paradise وَعْدَa promise ٱلصِّدْقِTRUE ٱلَّذِىwhich كَانُوا۟they were يُوعَدُونَpromised۝١٦ Āyah 16

وَٱلَّذِىbut the one who قَالَsays لِوَٰلِدَيْهِto his parents أُفٍّuff لَّكُمَآto both of you أَتَعِدَانِنِىٓdo you promise me أَنْthat أُخْرَجَi will be brought forth وَقَدْand have already passed away خَلَتِand have already passed away ٱلْقُرُونُthe generations مِنbefore me قَبْلِىbefore me وَهُمَاand they both يَسْتَغِيثَانِseek help ٱللَّهَ(of) allah وَيْلَكَwoe to you ءَامِنْbelieve إِنَّindeed وَعْدَ(the) promise ٱللَّهِ(of) allah حَقٌّ(is) true فَيَقُولُbut he says مَاnot هَٰذَآ(is) this إِلَّآbut أَسَٰطِيرُ(the) stories ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ(of) the former (people)۝١٧ Āyah 17

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose ٱلَّذِينَ(are) the ones حَقَّ(has) proved true عَلَيْهِمُagainst them ٱلْقَوْلُthe word فِىٓamong أُمَمٍnations قَدْ(that) already passed away خَلَتْ(that) already passed away مِنbefore them قَبْلِهِمbefore them مِّنَof ٱلْجِنِّ(the) jinn وَٱلْإِنسِand the men إِنَّهُمْindeed they كَانُوا۟are خَٰسِرِينَ(the) losers۝١٨ Āyah 18

وَلِكُلٍّand for all دَرَجَٰتٌ(are) degrees مِّمَّاfor what عَمِلُوا۟they did وَلِيُوَفِّيَهُمْand that he may fully compensate them أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ(for) their deeds وَهُمْand they لَاwill not be wronged يُظْلَمُونَwill not be wronged۝١٩ Āyah 19

وَيَوْمَand (the) day يُعْرَضُwill be exposed ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieved عَلَىto ٱلنَّارِthe fire أَذْهَبْتُمْyou exhausted طَيِّبَٰتِكُمْyour good things فِىin حَيَاتِكُمُyour life ٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the world وَٱسْتَمْتَعْتُمand you took your pleasures بِهَاtherein فَٱلْيَوْمَso today تُجْزَوْنَyou will be recompensed عَذَابَ(with) a punishment ٱلْهُونِhumiliating بِمَاbecause كُنتُمْyou were تَسْتَكْبِرُونَarrogant فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth بِغَيْرِwithout ٱلْحَقِّ[the] right وَبِمَاand because كُنتُمْyou were تَفْسُقُونَdefiantly disobedient۝٢٠ Āyah 20
