نوح

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

إِنَّآindeed we أَرْسَلْنَا[we] sent نُوحًاnuh إِلَىٰto قَوْمِهِۦٓhis people أَنْthat أَنذِرْwarn قَوْمَكَyour people مِنfrom قَبْلِbefore أَن[that] يَأْتِيَهُمْcomes to them عَذَابٌa punishment أَلِيمٌpainful۝١ Āyah 1

قَالَhe said يَٰقَوْمِo my people إِنِّىindeed i am لَكُمْto you نَذِيرٌa warner مُّبِينٌclear۝٢ Āyah 2

أَنِthat ٱعْبُدُوا۟worship ٱللَّهَallah وَٱتَّقُوهُand fear him وَأَطِيعُونِand obey me۝٣ Āyah 3

يَغْفِرْhe will forgive لَكُمfor you مِّن[of] ذُنُوبِكُمْyour sins وَيُؤَخِّرْكُمْand give you إِلَىٰٓfor أَجَلٍa term مُّسَمًّىspecified إِنَّindeed أَجَلَ(the) term ٱللَّهِ(of) allah إِذَاwhen جَآءَit comes لَاnot يُؤَخَّرُis delayed لَوْif كُنتُمْyou تَعْلَمُونَknow۝٤ Āyah 4

قَالَhe said رَبِّmy lord إِنِّىindeed i دَعَوْتُinvited قَوْمِىmy people لَيْلًاnight وَنَهَارًاand day۝٥ Āyah 5

فَلَمْbut not يَزِدْهُمْincreased them دُعَآءِىٓmy invitation إِلَّاexcept فِرَارًا(in) flight۝٦ Āyah 6

وَإِنِّىand indeed i كُلَّمَاevery time دَعَوْتُهُمْi invited them لِتَغْفِرَthat you may forgive لَهُمْthem جَعَلُوٓا۟they put أَصَٰبِعَهُمْtheir fingers فِىٓin ءَاذَانِهِمْtheir ears وَٱسْتَغْشَوْا۟and covered themselves ثِيَابَهُمْ(with) their garments وَأَصَرُّوا۟and persisted وَٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟and were arrogant ٱسْتِكْبَارًا(with) pride۝٧ Āyah 7

ثُمَّthen إِنِّىindeed i دَعَوْتُهُمْinvited them جِهَارًاpublicly۝٨ Āyah 8

ثُمَّthen إِنِّىٓindeed i أَعْلَنتُannounced لَهُمْto them وَأَسْرَرْتُand i confided لَهُمْto them إِسْرَارًاsecretly۝٩ Āyah 9

فَقُلْتُthen i said ٱسْتَغْفِرُوا۟ask forgiveness رَبَّكُمْ(from) your lord إِنَّهُۥindeed he كَانَis غَفَّارًاoft forgiving۝١٠ Āyah 10

يُرْسِلِhe will send down ٱلسَّمَآءَ(rain from) the sky عَلَيْكُمupon you مِّدْرَارًا(in) abundance۝١١ Āyah 11

وَيُمْدِدْكُمand provide you بِأَمْوَٰلٍwith wealth وَبَنِينَand children وَيَجْعَلand make لَّكُمْfor you جَنَّٰتٍgardens وَيَجْعَلand make لَّكُمْfor you أَنْهَٰرًاrivers۝١٢ Āyah 12

مَّاwhat لَكُمْ(is) for you لَاnot تَرْجُونَyou attribute لِلَّهِto allah وَقَارًاgrandeur۝١٣ Āyah 13

وَقَدْand indeed خَلَقَكُمْhe created you أَطْوَارًا(in) stages۝١٤ Āyah 14

أَلَمْdo not تَرَوْا۟you see كَيْفَhow خَلَقَdid create ٱللَّهُallah سَبْعَ(the) seven سَمَٰوَٰتٍheavens طِبَاقًا(in) layers۝١٥ Āyah 15

وَجَعَلَand made ٱلْقَمَرَthe moon فِيهِنَّtherein نُورًاa light وَجَعَلَand made ٱلشَّمْسَthe sun سِرَاجًاa lamp۝١٦ Āyah 16

وَٱللَّهُand allah أَنۢبَتَكُمhas caused you to grow مِّنَfrom ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth نَبَاتًا(as) a growth۝١٧ Āyah 17

ثُمَّthen يُعِيدُكُمْhe will return you فِيهَاinto it وَيُخْرِجُكُمْand bring you forth إِخْرَاجًا(a new) bringing forth۝١٨ Āyah 18

وَٱللَّهُand allah جَعَلَmade لَكُمُfor you ٱلْأَرْضَthe earth بِسَاطًاan expanse۝١٩ Āyah 19

لِّتَسْلُكُوا۟that you may go along مِنْهَاtherein سُبُلًا(in) paths فِجَاجًاwide۝٢٠ Āyah 20
