فصلت

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

حمٓha meem۝١ Āyah 1

تَنزِيلٌa revelation مِّنَfrom ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful۝٢ Āyah 2

كِتَٰبٌa book فُصِّلَتْare detailed ءَايَٰتُهُۥits verses قُرْءَانًاa quran عَرَبِيًّا(in) arabic لِّقَوْمٍfor a people يَعْلَمُونَ(who) know۝٣ Āyah 3

بَشِيرًاa giver of glad tidings وَنَذِيرًاand a warner; فَأَعْرَضَbut turn away أَكْثَرُهُمْmost of them فَهُمْso they لَا(do) not يَسْمَعُونَhear۝٤ Āyah 4

وَقَالُوا۟and they say قُلُوبُنَاour hearts فِىٓ(are) in أَكِنَّةٍcoverings مِّمَّاfrom what تَدْعُونَآyou call us إِلَيْهِto it وَفِىٓand in ءَاذَانِنَاour ears وَقْرٌ(is) deafness وَمِنۢand between us بَيْنِنَاand between us وَبَيْنِكَand between you حِجَابٌ(is) a screen فَٱعْمَلْso work إِنَّنَاindeed we عَٰمِلُونَ(are) working۝٥ Āyah 5

قُلْsay إِنَّمَآonly أَنَا۠i am بَشَرٌa man مِّثْلُكُمْlike you يُوحَىٰٓit is revealed إِلَىَّto me أَنَّمَآthat إِلَٰهُكُمْyour god إِلَٰهٌ(is) god وَٰحِدٌone; فَٱسْتَقِيمُوٓا۟so take a straight path إِلَيْهِto him وَٱسْتَغْفِرُوهُand ask his forgiveness وَوَيْلٌand woe لِّلْمُشْرِكِينَto the polytheists۝٦ Āyah 6

ٱلَّذِينَthose who لَا(do) not يُؤْتُونَgive ٱلزَّكَوٰةَthe zakah وَهُمand they بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِin the hereafter هُمْthey كَٰفِرُونَ(are) disbelievers۝٧ Āyah 7

إِنَّindeed ٱلَّذِينَthose who ءَامَنُوا۟believe وَعَمِلُوا۟and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِrighteous deeds لَهُمْfor them أَجْرٌ(is) a reward غَيْرُnever ending مَمْنُونٍnever ending۝٨ Āyah 8
