النمل

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

طسٓta seen تِلْكَthese ءَايَٰتُ(are the) verses ٱلْقُرْءَانِ(of) the quran وَكِتَابٍand a book مُّبِينٍclear۝١ Āyah 1

هُدًىa guidance وَبُشْرَىٰand glad tidings لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَfor the believers۝٢ Āyah 2

ٱلَّذِينَthose who يُقِيمُونَestablish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَthe prayer وَيُؤْتُونَand give ٱلزَّكَوٰةَzakah وَهُمand they بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِin the hereafter هُمْ[they] يُوقِنُونَbelieve with certainty۝٣ Āyah 3

إِنَّindeed ٱلَّذِينَthose who لَا(do) not يُؤْمِنُونَbelieve بِٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِin the hereafter زَيَّنَّاwe have made fair seeming لَهُمْto them أَعْمَٰلَهُمْtheir deeds فَهُمْso they يَعْمَهُونَwander blindly۝٤ Āyah 4

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose ٱلَّذِينَ(are) the ones لَهُمْfor them سُوٓءُ(is) an evil ٱلْعَذَابِ[the] punishment وَهُمْand they فِىin ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِthe hereafter هُمُ[they] ٱلْأَخْسَرُونَ(will be) the greatest losers۝٥ Āyah 5

وَإِنَّكَand indeed you لَتُلَقَّىsurely receive ٱلْقُرْءَانَthe quran مِنfrom [near] لَّدُنْfrom [near] حَكِيمٍthe all wise عَلِيمٍthe all knower۝٦ Āyah 6

إِذْwhen قَالَsaid مُوسَىٰmusa لِأَهْلِهِۦٓto his family إِنِّىٓindeed i ءَانَسْتُperceive نَارًاa fire سَـَٔاتِيكُمi will bring you مِّنْهَاfrom it بِخَبَرٍsome information أَوْor ءَاتِيكُمi will bring you بِشِهَابٍa torch قَبَسٍburning لَّعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَصْطَلُونَwarm yourselves۝٧ Āyah 7

فَلَمَّاbut when جَآءَهَاhe came to it نُودِىَhe was called أَنۢ[that] بُورِكَblessed is مَنwho فِى(is) at ٱلنَّارِthe fire وَمَنْand whoever حَوْلَهَا(is) around it وَسُبْحَٰنَand glory be ٱللَّهِ(to) allah رَبِّ(the) lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ(of) the worlds۝٨ Āyah 8

يَٰمُوسَىٰٓo musa إِنَّهُۥٓindeed أَنَاi am ٱللَّهُallah ٱلْعَزِيزُthe all mighty ٱلْحَكِيمُthe all wise۝٩ Āyah 9

وَأَلْقِand throw عَصَاكَyour staff فَلَمَّاbut when رَءَاهَاhe saw it تَهْتَزُّmoving كَأَنَّهَاas if it جَآنٌّ(were) a snake وَلَّىٰhe turned back مُدْبِرًا(in) flight وَلَمْand (did) not يُعَقِّبْlook back يَٰمُوسَىٰo musa لَا(do) not تَخَفْfear إِنِّىindeed [i] لَا(do) not يَخَافُfear لَدَىَّ(in) my presence ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَthe messengers۝١٠ Āyah 10

إِلَّاexcept مَنwho ظَلَمَwrongs ثُمَّthen بَدَّلَsubstitutes حُسْنًۢاgood بَعْدَafter سُوٓءٍevil فَإِنِّىthen indeed i am غَفُورٌoft forgiving رَّحِيمٌmost merciful۝١١ Āyah 11

وَأَدْخِلْand enter يَدَكَyour hand فِىinto جَيْبِكَyour bosom تَخْرُجْit will come forth بَيْضَآءَwhite مِنْwithout غَيْرِwithout سُوٓءٍharm فِى(these are) among تِسْعِnine ءَايَٰتٍsigns إِلَىٰto فِرْعَوْنَfiraun وَقَوْمِهِۦٓand his people إِنَّهُمْindeed they كَانُوا۟are قَوْمًاa people فَٰسِقِينَdefiantly disobedient۝١٢ Āyah 12

فَلَمَّاbut when جَآءَتْهُمْcame to them ءَايَٰتُنَاour signs مُبْصِرَةًvisible قَالُوا۟they said هَٰذَاthis سِحْرٌ(is) a magic مُّبِينٌmanifest۝١٣ Āyah 13

وَجَحَدُوا۟and they rejected بِهَاthem وَٱسْتَيْقَنَتْهَآthough were convinced with them (signs) أَنفُسُهُمْthemselves ظُلْمًا(out of) injustice وَعُلُوًّاand haughtiness فَٱنظُرْso see كَيْفَhow كَانَwas عَٰقِبَةُ(the) end ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ(of) the corrupters۝١٤ Āyah 14
