الأحزاب

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

يَٰٓأَيُّهَاo prophet ٱلنَّبِىُّo prophet ٱتَّقِfear ٱللَّهَallah وَلَاand (do) not تُطِعِobey ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَthe disbelievers وَٱلْمُنَٰفِقِينَand the hypocrites إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah كَانَis عَلِيمًاall knower حَكِيمًاall wise۝١ Āyah 1

وَٱتَّبِعْand follow مَاwhat يُوحَىٰٓis inspired إِلَيْكَto you مِنfrom رَّبِّكَyour lord إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah كَانَis بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُونَyou do خَبِيرًاall aware۝٢ Āyah 2

وَتَوَكَّلْand put your trust عَلَىin ٱللَّهِallah وَكَفَىٰand allah is sufficient بِٱللَّهِand allah is sufficient وَكِيلًا(as) disposer of affairs۝٣ Āyah 3

مَّاnot جَعَلَallah (has) made ٱللَّهُallah (has) made لِرَجُلٍfor any man مِّن[of] قَلْبَيْنِtwo hearts فِىin جَوْفِهِۦhis interior وَمَاand not جَعَلَhe (has) made أَزْوَٰجَكُمُyour wives ٱلَّٰٓـِٔىwhom تُظَٰهِرُونَyou declare unlawful مِنْهُنَّ[of them] أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ(as) your mothers وَمَاand not جَعَلَhe has made أَدْعِيَآءَكُمْyour adopted sons أَبْنَآءَكُمْyour sons ذَٰلِكُمْthat قَوْلُكُم(is) your saying بِأَفْوَٰهِكُمْby your mouths وَٱللَّهُbut allah يَقُولُsays ٱلْحَقَّthe truth وَهُوَand he يَهْدِىguides ٱلسَّبِيلَ(to) the way۝٤ Āyah 4

ٱدْعُوهُمْcall them لِـَٔابَآئِهِمْby their fathers; هُوَit أَقْسَطُ(is) more just عِندَnear ٱللَّهِallah فَإِنbut if لَّمْnot تَعْلَمُوٓا۟you know ءَابَآءَهُمْtheir fathers فَإِخْوَٰنُكُمْthen (they are) your brothers فِىin ٱلدِّينِ[the] religion وَمَوَٰلِيكُمْand your friends وَلَيْسَbut not is عَلَيْكُمْupon you جُنَاحٌany blame فِيمَآin what أَخْطَأْتُمyou made a mistake بِهِۦin it وَلَٰكِنbut مَّاwhat تَعَمَّدَتْintended قُلُوبُكُمْyour hearts وَكَانَand allah ٱللَّهُand allah غَفُورًا(is) oft forgiving رَّحِيمًاmost merciful۝٥ Āyah 5

ٱلنَّبِىُّthe prophet أَوْلَىٰ(is) closer بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَto the believers مِنْthan أَنفُسِهِمْtheir own selves وَأَزْوَٰجُهُۥٓand his wives أُمَّهَٰتُهُمْ(are) their mothers وَأُو۟لُوا۟and possessors ٱلْأَرْحَامِ(of) relationships بَعْضُهُمْsome of them أَوْلَىٰ(are) closer بِبَعْضٍto another فِىin كِتَٰبِ(the) decree ٱللَّهِ(of) allah مِنَthan ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believers وَٱلْمُهَٰجِرِينَand the emigrants إِلَّآexcept أَنthat تَفْعَلُوٓا۟you do إِلَىٰٓto أَوْلِيَآئِكُمyour friends مَّعْرُوفًاa kindness كَانَthat is ذَٰلِكَthat is فِىin ٱلْكِتَٰبِthe book مَسْطُورًاwritten۝٦ Āyah 6

وَإِذْand when أَخَذْنَاwe took مِنَfrom ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَthe prophets مِيثَٰقَهُمْtheir covenant وَمِنكَand from you وَمِنand from نُّوحٍnuh وَإِبْرَٰهِيمَand ibrahim وَمُوسَىٰand musa وَعِيسَىand isa ٱبْنِson مَرْيَمَ(of) maryam وَأَخَذْنَاand we took مِنْهُمfrom them مِّيثَٰقًاa covenant غَلِيظًاstrong۝٧ Āyah 7

لِّيَسْـَٔلَthat he may ask ٱلصَّٰدِقِينَthe truthful عَنabout صِدْقِهِمْtheir truth وَأَعَدَّand he has prepared لِلْكَٰفِرِينَfor the disbelievers عَذَابًاa punishment أَلِيمًاpainful۝٨ Āyah 8
