الزخرف

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

حمٓha meem۝١ Āyah 1

وَٱلْكِتَٰبِby the book ٱلْمُبِينِthe clear۝٢ Āyah 2

إِنَّاindeed we جَعَلْنَٰهُ(have) made it قُرْءَٰنًاa quran عَرَبِيًّا(in) arabic لَّعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَعْقِلُونَunderstand۝٣ Āyah 3

وَإِنَّهُۥand indeed it فِىٓ(is) in أُمِّ(the) mother ٱلْكِتَٰبِ(of) the book لَدَيْنَاwith us لَعَلِىٌّsurely exalted حَكِيمٌfull of wisdom۝٤ Āyah 4

أَفَنَضْرِبُthen should we take away عَنكُمُfrom you ٱلذِّكْرَthe reminder صَفْحًاdisregarding (you) أَنbecause كُنتُمْyou are قَوْمًاa people مُّسْرِفِينَtransgressing۝٥ Āyah 5

وَكَمْand how many أَرْسَلْنَاand how many مِنwe sent نَّبِىٍّa prophet فِىamong ٱلْأَوَّلِينَthe former (people)۝٦ Āyah 6

وَمَاand not يَأْتِيهِمcame to them مِّنany prophet نَّبِىٍّany prophet إِلَّاbut كَانُوا۟they used to بِهِۦmock at him يَسْتَهْزِءُونَmock at him۝٧ Āyah 7

فَأَهْلَكْنَآthen we destroyed أَشَدَّstronger مِنْهُمthan them بَطْشًا(in) power وَمَضَىٰand has passed مَثَلُ(the) example ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ(of) the former (people)۝٨ Āyah 8

وَلَئِنand if سَأَلْتَهُمyou ask them مَّنْwho خَلَقَcreated ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَand the earth لَيَقُولُنَّthey will surely say خَلَقَهُنَّcreated them ٱلْعَزِيزُthe all mighty ٱلْعَلِيمُthe all knower۝٩ Āyah 9

ٱلَّذِىthe one who جَعَلَmade لَكُمُfor you ٱلْأَرْضَthe earth مَهْدًاa bed وَجَعَلَand made لَكُمْfor you فِيهَاtherein سُبُلًاroads لَّعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَهْتَدُونَ(be) guided۝١٠ Āyah 10

وَٱلَّذِىand the one who نَزَّلَsends down مِنَfrom ٱلسَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءًۢwater بِقَدَرٍin (due) measure فَأَنشَرْنَاthen we revive بِهِۦwith it بَلْدَةًa land مَّيْتًاdead كَذَٰلِكَthus تُخْرَجُونَyou will be brought forth۝١١ Āyah 11

وَٱلَّذِىand the one who خَلَقَcreated ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَthe pairs كُلَّهَاall of them وَجَعَلَand made لَكُمfor you مِّنَ[of] ٱلْفُلْكِthe ships وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِand the cattle مَاwhat تَرْكَبُونَyou ride۝١٢ Āyah 12

لِتَسْتَوُۥا۟that you may sit firmly عَلَىٰon ظُهُورِهِۦtheir backs ثُمَّthen تَذْكُرُوا۟remember نِعْمَةَ(the) favor رَبِّكُمْ(of) your lord إِذَاwhen ٱسْتَوَيْتُمْyou sit firmly عَلَيْهِon them وَتَقُولُوا۟and say سُبْحَٰنَglory be (to) ٱلَّذِىthe one who سَخَّرَ(has) subjected لَنَاto us هَٰذَاthis وَمَاand not كُنَّاwe were لَهُۥof it مُقْرِنِينَcapable۝١٣ Āyah 13

وَإِنَّآand indeed we إِلَىٰto رَبِّنَاour lord لَمُنقَلِبُونَwill surely return۝١٤ Āyah 14

وَجَعَلُوا۟but they attribute لَهُۥto him مِنْfrom عِبَادِهِۦhis slaves جُزْءًاa portion إِنَّindeed ٱلْإِنسَٰنَman لَكَفُورٌsurely (is) clearly ungrateful مُّبِينٌsurely (is) clearly ungrateful۝١٥ Āyah 15
