ابراهيم

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

الٓرalif laam ra كِتَٰبٌa book أَنزَلْنَٰهُwhich we have revealed إِلَيْكَto you لِتُخْرِجَso that you may bring out ٱلنَّاسَthe mankind مِنَfrom ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِthe darkness[es] إِلَىto ٱلنُّورِthe light بِإِذْنِby the permission رَبِّهِمْ(of) their lord إِلَىٰto صِرَٰطِthe path ٱلْعَزِيزِ(of) the all mighty ٱلْحَمِيدِthe praiseworthy۝١ Āyah 1

ٱللَّهِallah ٱلَّذِى(is) the one لَهُۥto him (belongs) مَاwhatever فِى(is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand whatever فِى(is) in ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth وَوَيْلٌand woe لِّلْكَٰفِرِينَto the disbelievers مِنْfrom عَذَابٍthe punishment شَدِيدٍsevere۝٢ Āyah 2

ٱلَّذِينَthose who يَسْتَحِبُّونَlove more ٱلْحَيَوٰةَthe life ٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the world عَلَىthan ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِthe hereafter وَيَصُدُّونَand hinder عَنfrom سَبِيلِ(the) path ٱللَّهِ(of) allah وَيَبْغُونَهَاand seek in it عِوَجًاcrookedness أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose فِى[in] ضَلَٰلٍۭ(are) far astray بَعِيدٍ(are) far astray۝٣ Āyah 3

وَمَآand not أَرْسَلْنَاwe sent مِنany رَّسُولٍmessenger إِلَّاexcept بِلِسَانِwith the language قَوْمِهِۦ(of) his people لِيُبَيِّنَso that he might make clear لَهُمْfor them فَيُضِلُّthen allah lets go astray ٱللَّهُthen allah lets go astray مَنwhom يَشَآءُhe wills وَيَهْدِىand guides مَنwhom يَشَآءُhe wills وَهُوَand he ٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the all mighty ٱلْحَكِيمُthe all wise۝٤ Āyah 4

وَلَقَدْand verily أَرْسَلْنَاwe sent مُوسَىٰmusa بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآwith our signs أَنْthat أَخْرِجْbring out قَوْمَكَyour people مِنَfrom ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِthe darkness[es] إِلَىto ٱلنُّورِthe light وَذَكِّرْهُمand remind them بِأَيَّىٰمِof the days ٱللَّهِ(of) allah إِنَّindeed فِىin ذَٰلِكَthat لَـَٔايَٰتٍsurely (are) the signs لِّكُلِّfor everyone صَبَّارٍpatient شَكُورٍand thankful۝٥ Āyah 5

وَإِذْand when قَالَsaid مُوسَىٰmusa لِقَوْمِهِto his people ٱذْكُرُوا۟remember نِعْمَةَ(the) favor of allah ٱللَّهِ(the) favor of allah عَلَيْكُمْupon you إِذْwhen أَنجَىٰكُمhe saved you مِّنْfrom ءَالِ(the) people فِرْعَوْنَ(of) firaun يَسُومُونَكُمْthey were afflicting you سُوٓءَ(with) evil ٱلْعَذَابِtorment وَيُذَبِّحُونَand were slaughtering أَبْنَآءَكُمْyour sons وَيَسْتَحْيُونَand letting live نِسَآءَكُمْyour women وَفِىand in ذَٰلِكُمthat بَلَآءٌ(was) a trial مِّنfrom رَّبِّكُمْyour lord عَظِيمٌgreat۝٦ Āyah 6
