السجدة

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

الٓمٓalif lam meem۝١ Āyah 1

تَنزِيلُ(the) revelation ٱلْكِتَٰبِ(of) the book لَا(there is) no رَيْبَdoubt فِيهِabout it مِنfrom رَّبِّ(the) lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ(of) the worlds۝٢ Āyah 2

أَمْor يَقُولُونَ(do) they say ٱفْتَرَىٰهُhe invented it بَلْnay هُوَit ٱلْحَقُّ(is) the truth مِنfrom رَّبِّكَyour lord لِتُنذِرَthat you may warn قَوْمًاa people مَّآnot أَتَىٰهُمhas come to them مِّنany نَّذِيرٍwarner مِّنbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you لَعَلَّهُمْso that they may يَهْتَدُونَbe guided۝٣ Āyah 3

ٱللَّهُallah ٱلَّذِى(is) the one who خَلَقَcreated ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَand the earth وَمَاand whatever بَيْنَهُمَا(is) between them فِىin سِتَّةِsix أَيَّامٍperiods ثُمَّthen ٱسْتَوَىٰestablished himself عَلَىon ٱلْعَرْشِthe throne مَاnot لَكُمfor you مِّنbesides him دُونِهِۦbesides him مِنany وَلِىٍّprotector وَلَاand not شَفِيعٍany intercessor أَفَلَاthen will not تَتَذَكَّرُونَyou take heed۝٤ Āyah 4

يُدَبِّرُhe regulates ٱلْأَمْرَthe affair مِنَof ٱلسَّمَآءِthe heaven إِلَىto ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth; ثُمَّthen يَعْرُجُit will ascend إِلَيْهِto him فِىin يَوْمٍa day كَانَ(the) measure of which is مِقْدَارُهُۥٓ(the) measure of which is أَلْفَa thousand سَنَةٍyears مِّمَّاof what تَعُدُّونَyou count۝٥ Āyah 5

ذَٰلِكَthat عَٰلِمُ(is the) knower ٱلْغَيْبِ(of) the hidden وَٱلشَّهَٰدَةِand the witnessed ٱلْعَزِيزُthe all mighty ٱلرَّحِيمُthe most merciful۝٦ Āyah 6

ٱلَّذِىٓthe one who أَحْسَنَmade good كُلَّevery شَىْءٍthing خَلَقَهُۥhe created وَبَدَأَand he began خَلْقَ(the) creation ٱلْإِنسَٰنِ(of) man مِنfrom طِينٍclay۝٧ Āyah 7

ثُمَّthen جَعَلَhe made نَسْلَهُۥhis progeny مِنfrom سُلَٰلَةٍan extract مِّنof مَّآءٍwater مَّهِينٍdespised۝٨ Āyah 8

ثُمَّthen سَوَّىٰهُhe fashioned him وَنَفَخَand breathed فِيهِinto him مِنfrom رُّوحِهِۦhis spirit وَجَعَلَand made لَكُمُfor you ٱلسَّمْعَthe hearing وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرَand the sight وَٱلْأَفْـِٔدَةَand feelings; قَلِيلًاlittle مَّا[what] تَشْكُرُونَthanks you give۝٩ Āyah 9

وَقَالُوٓا۟and they say أَءِذَاis (it) when ضَلَلْنَاwe are lost فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth أَءِنَّاwill we لَفِىcertainly be in خَلْقٍa creation جَدِيدٍۭnew بَلْnay هُمthey بِلِقَآءِin (the) meeting رَبِّهِمْ(of) their lord كَٰفِرُونَ(are) disbelievers۝١٠ Āyah 10

قُلْsay يَتَوَفَّىٰكُمwill take your soul مَّلَكُ(the) angel ٱلْمَوْتِ(of) the death ٱلَّذِىthe one who وُكِّلَhas been put in charge بِكُمْof you ثُمَّthen إِلَىٰto رَبِّكُمْyour lord تُرْجَعُونَyou will be returned۝١١ Āyah 11
