الأنفال

إِذْwhen يُغَشِّيكُمُhe covered you ٱلنُّعَاسَwith [the] slumber أَمَنَةًa security مِّنْهُfrom him وَيُنَزِّلُand sent down عَلَيْكُمupon you مِّنَfrom ٱلسَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءًwater لِّيُطَهِّرَكُمso that he may purify you بِهِۦwith it وَيُذْهِبَand take away عَنكُمْfrom you رِجْزَevil (suggestions) ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ(of) the shaitaan وَلِيَرْبِطَand to strengthen عَلَىٰ[on] قُلُوبِكُمْyour hearts وَيُثَبِّتَand make firm بِهِwith it ٱلْأَقْدَامَyour feet۝١١ Āyah 11

إِذْwhen يُوحِىinspired رَبُّكَyour lord إِلَىto ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِthe angels أَنِّىi مَعَكُمْwith you فَثَبِّتُوا۟so strengthen ٱلَّذِينَthose who ءَامَنُوا۟believed سَأُلْقِىi will cast فِىin قُلُوبِ(the) hearts ٱلَّذِينَ(of) those who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieved ٱلرُّعْبَthe terror فَٱضْرِبُوا۟so strike فَوْقَabove ٱلْأَعْنَاقِthe necks وَٱضْرِبُوا۟and strike مِنْهُمْfrom them كُلَّevery بَنَانٍfingertip[s]۝١٢ Āyah 12

ذَٰلِكَthat بِأَنَّهُمْ(is) because they شَآقُّوا۟opposed ٱللَّهَallah وَرَسُولَهُۥand his messenger وَمَنand whoever يُشَاقِقِopposes ٱللَّهَallah وَرَسُولَهُۥand his messenger فَإِنَّthen indeed ٱللَّهَallah شَدِيدُ(is) severe ٱلْعِقَابِin [the] penalty۝١٣ Āyah 13

ذَٰلِكُمْthat فَذُوقُوهُso taste it وَأَنَّand that لِلْكَٰفِرِينَfor the disbelievers عَذَابَ(is the) punishment ٱلنَّارِ(of) the fire۝١٤ Āyah 14

يَٰٓأَيُّهَاo you who believe ٱلَّذِينَo you who believe ءَامَنُوٓا۟o you who believe إِذَاwhen لَقِيتُمُyou meet ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieve زَحْفًاadvancing فَلَاthen (do) not تُوَلُّوهُمُturn to them ٱلْأَدْبَارَthe backs۝١٥ Āyah 15

وَمَنand whoever يُوَلِّهِمْturns to them يَوْمَئِذٍhis back that day دُبُرَهُۥٓhis back that day إِلَّاexcept مُتَحَرِّفًا(as) a strategy لِّقِتَالٍof war أَوْor مُتَحَيِّزًا(to) join إِلَىٰto فِئَةٍa group فَقَدْcertainly بَآءَ(he has) incurred بِغَضَبٍwrath مِّنَof ٱللَّهِallah وَمَأْوَىٰهُand his abode جَهَنَّمُ(is) hell وَبِئْسَa wretched ٱلْمَصِيرُdestination۝١٦ Āyah 16

فَلَمْand not تَقْتُلُوهُمْyou kill them وَلَٰكِنَّbut ٱللَّهَallah قَتَلَهُمْkilled them وَمَاand not رَمَيْتَyou threw إِذْwhen رَمَيْتَyou threw وَلَٰكِنَّbut ٱللَّهَallah رَمَىٰthrew وَلِيُبْلِىَand that he may test ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believers مِنْهُfrom him بَلَآءً(with) a trial حَسَنًاgood إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah سَمِيعٌ(is) all hearing عَلِيمٌall knowing۝١٧ Āyah 17

ذَٰلِكُمْthat (is the case) وَأَنَّand that ٱللَّهَallah (is) مُوهِنُone who makes weak كَيْدِ(the) plan ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ(of) the disbelievers۝١٨ Āyah 18

إِنif تَسْتَفْتِحُوا۟you ask for victory فَقَدْthen certainly جَآءَكُمُhas come to you ٱلْفَتْحُthe victory وَإِنand if تَنتَهُوا۟you desist فَهُوَthen it (is) خَيْرٌgood لَّكُمْfor you وَإِنbut if تَعُودُوا۟you return نَعُدْwe will return (too) وَلَنand never تُغْنِىَwill avail عَنكُمْyou فِئَتُكُمْyour forces شَيْـًٔاanything وَلَوْeven if كَثُرَتْ(they are) numerous وَأَنَّand that ٱللَّهَallah مَعَ(is) with ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believers۝١٩ Āyah 19
