الرعد

وَلَقَدْand certainly أَرْسَلْنَاwe sent رُسُلًاmessengers مِّنbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you وَجَعَلْنَاand we made لَهُمْfor them أَزْوَٰجًاwives وَذُرِّيَّةًand offspring وَمَاand not كَانَwas لِرَسُولٍfor a messenger أَنthat يَأْتِىَhe comes بِـَٔايَةٍwith a sign إِلَّاexcept بِإِذْنِby the leave ٱللَّهِ(of) allah لِكُلِّfor everything أَجَلٍ(is) a time كِتَابٌprescribed۝٣٨ Āyah 38

يَمْحُوا۟allah eliminates ٱللَّهُallah eliminates مَاwhat يَشَآءُhe wills وَيُثْبِتُand confirms وَعِندَهُۥٓand with him أُمُّ(is) the mother (of) the book ٱلْكِتَٰبِ(is) the mother (of) the book۝٣٩ Āyah 39

وَإِنand whether مَّاand whether نُرِيَنَّكَwe show you بَعْضَa part ٱلَّذِى(of) what نَعِدُهُمْwe have promised them أَوْor نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَwe cause you to die فَإِنَّمَاso only عَلَيْكَon you ٱلْبَلَٰغُ(is) the conveyance وَعَلَيْنَاand on us ٱلْحِسَابُ(is) the reckoning۝٤٠ Āyah 40

أَوَلَمْdid not يَرَوْا۟they see أَنَّاthat we نَأْتِىcome ٱلْأَرْضَ(to) the land نَنقُصُهَاreducing it مِنْfrom أَطْرَافِهَاits borders وَٱللَّهُand allah يَحْكُمُjudges; لَا(there is) no مُعَقِّبَadjuster لِحُكْمِهِۦ(of) his judgment وَهُوَand he سَرِيعُ(is) swift ٱلْحِسَابِ(in) the reckoning۝٤١ Āyah 41

وَقَدْand certainly مَكَرَplotted ٱلَّذِينَthose who مِن(were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ(were) before them فَلِلَّهِbut for allah ٱلْمَكْرُ(is) the plot جَمِيعًاall يَعْلَمُhe knows مَاwhat تَكْسِبُearns كُلُّevery نَفْسٍsoul وَسَيَعْلَمُand will know ٱلْكُفَّٰرُthe disbelievers لِمَنْfor whom عُقْبَى(is) the final ٱلدَّارِthe home۝٤٢ Āyah 42

وَيَقُولُand say ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieve لَسْتَyou are not مُرْسَلًاa messenger قُلْsay كَفَىٰsufficient بِٱللَّهِ(is) allah شَهِيدًۢا(as) a witness بَيْنِىbetween me وَبَيْنَكُمْand between you وَمَنْand whoever عِندَهُۥ[he] has عِلْمُknowledge ٱلْكِتَٰبِ(of) the book۝٤٣ Āyah 43
