ابراهيم

وَقَالَand said ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieved لِرُسُلِهِمْto their messengers لَنُخْرِجَنَّكُمsurely we will drive you out مِّنْof أَرْضِنَآour land أَوْor لَتَعُودُنَّsurely you should return فِىto مِلَّتِنَاour religion فَأَوْحَىٰٓso inspired إِلَيْهِمْto them رَبُّهُمْtheir lord لَنُهْلِكَنَّwe will surely destroy ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَthe wrongdoers۝١٣ Āyah 13

وَلَنُسْكِنَنَّكُمُand surely we will make you dwell ٱلْأَرْضَ(in) the land مِنۢafter them بَعْدِهِمْafter them ذَٰلِكَthat لِمَنْ(is) for whoever خَافَfears مَقَامِىstanding before me وَخَافَand fears وَعِيدِmy threat۝١٤ Āyah 14

وَٱسْتَفْتَحُوا۟and they sought victory وَخَابَand disappointed كُلُّevery جَبَّارٍtyrant عَنِيدٍobstinate۝١٥ Āyah 15

مِّنahead of him وَرَآئِهِۦahead of him جَهَنَّمُ(is) hell وَيُسْقَىٰand he will be made to drink مِنof مَّآءٍwater صَدِيدٍpurulent۝١٦ Āyah 16

يَتَجَرَّعُهُۥhe will sip it وَلَاbut not يَكَادُhe will be near يُسِيغُهُۥ(to) swallowing it وَيَأْتِيهِand will come to him ٱلْمَوْتُthe death مِنfrom كُلِّevery مَكَانٍside وَمَاbut not هُوَhe بِمَيِّتٍwill die وَمِنand ahead of him وَرَآئِهِۦand ahead of him عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment غَلِيظٌharsh۝١٧ Āyah 17

مَّثَلُ(the) example ٱلَّذِينَ(of) those who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieve بِرَبِّهِمْin their lord أَعْمَٰلُهُمْtheir deeds كَرَمَادٍ(are) like ashes ٱشْتَدَّتْblows furiously بِهِon it ٱلرِّيحُthe wind فِىin يَوْمٍa day عَاصِفٍstormy لَّاno يَقْدِرُونَcontrol (they have) مِمَّاof what كَسَبُوا۟they have earned عَلَىٰon شَىْءٍanything ذَٰلِكَthat هُوَ[it] ٱلضَّلَٰلُ(is) the straying ٱلْبَعِيدُfar۝١٨ Āyah 18

أَلَمْdo not تَرَyou see أَنَّthat ٱللَّهَallah خَلَقَcreated ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَand the earth بِٱلْحَقِّin truth إِنif يَشَأْhe wills يُذْهِبْكُمْhe can remove you وَيَأْتِand bring بِخَلْقٍa creation جَدِيدٍnew۝١٩ Āyah 19

وَمَاand not ذَٰلِكَ(is) that عَلَىon ٱللَّهِallah بِعَزِيزٍgreat۝٢٠ Āyah 20

وَبَرَزُوا۟and they will come forth لِلَّهِbefore allah جَمِيعًاall together فَقَالَthen will say ٱلضُّعَفَٰٓؤُا۟the weak لِلَّذِينَto those who ٱسْتَكْبَرُوٓا۟were arrogant إِنَّاindeed we كُنَّاwe were لَكُمْyour تَبَعًاfollowers فَهَلْso can أَنتُمyou (be) مُّغْنُونَthe one who avails عَنَّاus مِنْfrom عَذَابِ(the) punishment ٱللَّهِ(of) allah مِنanything شَىْءٍanything قَالُوا۟they will say لَوْif هَدَىٰنَاallah had guided us ٱللَّهُallah had guided us لَهَدَيْنَٰكُمْsurely we would have guided سَوَآءٌ(it is) same عَلَيْنَآfor us أَجَزِعْنَآwhether we show intolerance أَمْor صَبَرْنَاwe are patient مَاnot لَنَا(is) for us مِنany مَّحِيصٍplace of escape۝٢١ Āyah 21
