النحل

وَقَالَand said ٱلَّذِينَthose who أَشْرَكُوا۟associate partners (with allah) لَوْif شَآءَallah (had) willed ٱللَّهُallah (had) willed مَاnot عَبَدْنَاwe (would) have worshipped مِنother than him دُونِهِۦother than him مِنany شَىْءٍthing نَّحْنُwe وَلَآand not ءَابَآؤُنَاour forefathers وَلَاand not حَرَّمْنَاwe (would) have forbidden مِنother than him دُونِهِۦother than him مِنanything شَىْءٍanything كَذَٰلِكَthus فَعَلَdid ٱلَّذِينَthose who مِن(were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ(were) before them فَهَلْthen is (there) عَلَىon ٱلرُّسُلِthe messengers إِلَّاexcept ٱلْبَلَٰغُthe conveyance ٱلْمُبِينُclear۝٣٥ Āyah 35

وَلَقَدْand certainly بَعَثْنَاwe sent فِىinto كُلِّevery أُمَّةٍnation رَّسُولًاa messenger أَنِthat ٱعْبُدُوا۟worship ٱللَّهَallah وَٱجْتَنِبُوا۟and avoid ٱلطَّٰغُوتَthe false deities فَمِنْهُمthen among them مَّنْ(were some) whom هَدَىallah guided ٱللَّهُallah guided وَمِنْهُمand among them مَّنْ(were) some حَقَّتْwas justified عَلَيْهِon them ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُthe straying فَسِيرُوا۟so travel فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth فَٱنظُرُوا۟and see كَيْفَhow كَانَwas عَٰقِبَةُthe end ٱلْمُكَذِّبِينَ(of) the deniers۝٣٦ Āyah 36

إِنif تَحْرِصْyou desire عَلَىٰ[for] هُدَىٰهُمْtheir guidance فَإِنَّthen indeed ٱللَّهَallah لَا(will) not يَهْدِىguide مَنwhom يُضِلُّhe lets go astray وَمَاand not (are) لَهُمfor them مِّنany نَّٰصِرِينَhelpers۝٣٧ Āyah 37

وَأَقْسَمُوا۟and they swear بِٱللَّهِby allah جَهْدَstrongest أَيْمَٰنِهِمْ(of) their oaths لَاallah will not resurrect يَبْعَثُallah will not resurrect ٱللَّهُallah will not resurrect مَن(one) who يَمُوتُdies بَلَىٰnay وَعْدًا(it is) a promise عَلَيْهِupon him حَقًّا(in) truth وَلَٰكِنَّbut أَكْثَرَmost ٱلنَّاسِ(of) the mankind لَا(do) not يَعْلَمُونَknow۝٣٨ Āyah 38

لِيُبَيِّنَthat he will make clear لَهُمُto them ٱلَّذِىthat يَخْتَلِفُونَthey differ فِيهِwherein وَلِيَعْلَمَand that may know ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوٓا۟disbelieved أَنَّهُمْthat they كَانُوا۟were كَٰذِبِينَliars۝٣٩ Āyah 39

إِنَّمَاonly قَوْلُنَاour word لِشَىْءٍto a thing إِذَآwhen أَرَدْنَٰهُwe intend it أَن(is) that نَّقُولَwe say لَهُۥto it كُنbe فَيَكُونُand it is۝٤٠ Āyah 40
