الأنبياء

وَنُوحًاand nuh إِذْwhen نَادَىٰhe called مِنbefore قَبْلُbefore فَٱسْتَجَبْنَاso we responded لَهُۥto him فَنَجَّيْنَٰهُand we saved him وَأَهْلَهُۥand his family مِنَfrom ٱلْكَرْبِthe affliction ٱلْعَظِيمِ[the] great۝٧٦ Āyah 76

وَنَصَرْنَٰهُand we helped him مِنَfrom ٱلْقَوْمِthe people ٱلَّذِينَwho كَذَّبُوا۟denied بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآour signs إِنَّهُمْindeed they كَانُوا۟were قَوْمَa people سَوْءٍevil فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُمْso we drowned them أَجْمَعِينَall۝٧٧ Āyah 77

وَدَاوُۥدَand dawud وَسُلَيْمَٰنَand sulaiman إِذْwhen يَحْكُمَانِthey judged فِىconcerning ٱلْحَرْثِthe field إِذْwhen نَفَشَتْpastured فِيهِin it غَنَمُsheep ٱلْقَوْمِ(of) a people وَكُنَّاand we were لِحُكْمِهِمْto their judgment شَٰهِدِينَwitness۝٧٨ Āyah 78

فَفَهَّمْنَٰهَاand we gave understanding of it سُلَيْمَٰنَ(to) sulaiman وَكُلًّاand (to) each ءَاتَيْنَاwe gave حُكْمًاjudgment وَعِلْمًاand knowledge وَسَخَّرْنَاand we subjected مَعَwith دَاوُۥدَdawud ٱلْجِبَالَthe mountains يُسَبِّحْنَ(to) glorify our praises وَٱلطَّيْرَand the birds وَكُنَّاand we were فَٰعِلِينَthe doers۝٧٩ Āyah 79

وَعَلَّمْنَٰهُand we taught him صَنْعَةَ(the) making لَبُوسٍ(of) coats of armor لَّكُمْfor you لِتُحْصِنَكُمto protect you مِّنۢfrom بَأْسِكُمْyour battle فَهَلْthen will أَنتُمْyou شَٰكِرُونَ(be) grateful۝٨٠ Āyah 80

وَلِسُلَيْمَٰنَand to sulaiman ٱلرِّيحَthe wind عَاصِفَةًforcefully تَجْرِىblowing بِأَمْرِهِۦٓby his command إِلَىto ٱلْأَرْضِthe land ٱلَّتِىwhich بَٰرَكْنَاwe blessed فِيهَا[in it] وَكُنَّاand we are بِكُلِّof every شَىْءٍthing عَٰلِمِينَknowers۝٨١ Āyah 81

وَمِنَand of ٱلشَّيَٰطِينِthe devils مَن(were some) who يَغُوصُونَwould dive لَهُۥfor him وَيَعْمَلُونَand would do عَمَلًاwork دُونَother than ذَٰلِكَthat وَكُنَّاand we were لَهُمْof them حَٰفِظِينَguardians۝٨٢ Āyah 82

وَأَيُّوبَand ayub إِذْwhen نَادَىٰhe called رَبَّهُۥٓ(to) his lord أَنِّىindeed [i] مَسَّنِىَhas touched me ٱلضُّرُّthe adversity وَأَنتَand you أَرْحَمُ(are) most merciful ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ(of) the merciful۝٨٣ Āyah 83

فَٱسْتَجَبْنَاso we responded لَهُۥto him فَكَشَفْنَاand we removed مَاwhat بِهِۦ(was) on him مِنof ضُرٍّ(the) adversity وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُand we gave him أَهْلَهُۥhis family وَمِثْلَهُمand (the) like thereof مَّعَهُمْwith them رَحْمَةً(as) mercy مِّنْfrom ourselves عِندِنَاfrom ourselves وَذِكْرَىٰand a reminder لِلْعَٰبِدِينَfor the worshippers۝٨٤ Āyah 84

وَإِسْمَٰعِيلَand ismail وَإِدْرِيسَand idris وَذَاand dhul kifl; ٱلْكِفْلِand dhul kifl; كُلٌّall مِّنَ(were) of ٱلصَّٰبِرِينَthe patient ones۝٨٥ Āyah 85

وَأَدْخَلْنَٰهُمْand we admitted them فِىin رَحْمَتِنَآour mercy إِنَّهُمindeed they مِّنَ(were) of ٱلصَّٰلِحِينَthe righteous۝٨٦ Āyah 86

وَذَاand dhun nun ٱلنُّونِand dhun nun إِذwhen ذَّهَبَhe went مُغَٰضِبًا(while) angry فَظَنَّand thought أَنthat لَّنnever نَّقْدِرَwe would decree عَلَيْهِupon him فَنَادَىٰthen he called فِىin ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِthe darkness(es) أَنthat لَّآ(there is) no إِلَٰهَgod إِلَّآexcept أَنتَyou سُبْحَٰنَكَglory be to you إِنِّىindeed [i] كُنتُi am مِنَof ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَthe wrongdoers۝٨٧ Āyah 87

فَٱسْتَجَبْنَاso we responded لَهُۥto him وَنَجَّيْنَٰهُand we saved him مِنَfrom ٱلْغَمِّthe distress وَكَذَٰلِكَand thus نُـۨجِىwe save ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believers۝٨٨ Āyah 88

وَزَكَرِيَّآand zakariya إِذْwhen نَادَىٰhe called رَبَّهُۥ(to) his lord رَبِّmy lord لَا(do) not تَذَرْنِىleave me فَرْدًاalone وَأَنتَwhile you خَيْرُ(are) [the] best ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ(of) the inheritors۝٨٩ Āyah 89

فَٱسْتَجَبْنَاso we responded لَهُۥto him وَوَهَبْنَاand we bestowed لَهُۥon him يَحْيَىٰyahya وَأَصْلَحْنَاand we cured لَهُۥfor him زَوْجَهُۥٓhis wife إِنَّهُمْindeed they كَانُوا۟used (to) يُسَٰرِعُونَhasten فِىin ٱلْخَيْرَٰتِgood deeds وَيَدْعُونَنَاand they supplicate رَغَبًا(in) hope وَرَهَبًاand fear وَكَانُوا۟and they were لَنَاto us خَٰشِعِينَhumbly submissive۝٩٠ Āyah 90

وَٱلَّتِىٓand she who أَحْصَنَتْguarded فَرْجَهَاher chastity فَنَفَخْنَاso we breathed فِيهَاinto her مِنof رُّوحِنَاour spirit وَجَعَلْنَٰهَاand we made her وَٱبْنَهَآand her son ءَايَةًa sign لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَfor the worlds۝٩١ Āyah 91

إِنَّindeed هَٰذِهِۦٓthis أُمَّتُكُمْ(is) your religion أُمَّةًreligion وَٰحِدَةًone وَأَنَا۠and i am رَبُّكُمْyour lord فَٱعْبُدُونِso worship me۝٩٢ Āyah 92

وَتَقَطَّعُوٓا۟but they cut off أَمْرَهُمtheir affair بَيْنَهُمْamong themselves كُلٌّall إِلَيْنَاto us رَٰجِعُونَ(will) return۝٩٣ Āyah 93
