الشعراء

كَذَّبَتْdenied قَوْمُ(the) people لُوطٍ(of) lut ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَthe messengers۝١٦٠ Āyah 160

إِذْwhen قَالَsaid لَهُمْto them أَخُوهُمْtheir brother لُوطٌlut أَلَاwill not تَتَّقُونَyou fear (allah)۝١٦١ Āyah 161

إِنِّىindeed i am لَكُمْto you رَسُولٌa messenger أَمِينٌtrustworthy۝١٦٢ Āyah 162

فَٱتَّقُوا۟so fear ٱللَّهَallah وَأَطِيعُونِand obey me۝١٦٣ Āyah 163

وَمَآand not أَسْـَٔلُكُمْi ask you عَلَيْهِfor it مِنْany أَجْرٍpayment إِنْnot أَجْرِىَ(is) my payment إِلَّاexcept عَلَىٰfrom رَبِّ(the) lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ(of) the worlds۝١٦٤ Āyah 164

أَتَأْتُونَdo you approach ٱلذُّكْرَانَthe males مِنَamong ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَthe worlds۝١٦٥ Āyah 165

وَتَذَرُونَand you leave مَاwhat خَلَقَcreated لَكُمْfor you رَبُّكُمyour lord مِّنْof أَزْوَٰجِكُمyour mates بَلْnay أَنتُمْyou قَوْمٌ(are) a people عَادُونَtransgressing۝١٦٦ Āyah 166

قَالُوا۟they said لَئِنif لَّمْnot تَنتَهِyou desist يَٰلُوطُo lut لَتَكُونَنَّsurely you will be مِنَof ٱلْمُخْرَجِينَthe ones driven out۝١٦٧ Āyah 167

قَالَhe said إِنِّىindeed i am لِعَمَلِكُم(of) your deed مِّنَof ٱلْقَالِينَthose who detest۝١٦٨ Āyah 168

رَبِّmy lord نَجِّنِىsave me وَأَهْلِىand my family مِمَّاfrom what يَعْمَلُونَthey do۝١٦٩ Āyah 169

فَنَجَّيْنَٰهُso we saved him وَأَهْلَهُۥٓand his family أَجْمَعِينَall۝١٧٠ Āyah 170

إِلَّاexcept عَجُوزًاan old woman فِى(was) among ٱلْغَٰبِرِينَthose who remained behind۝١٧١ Āyah 171

ثُمَّthen دَمَّرْنَاwe destroyed ٱلْـَٔاخَرِينَthe others۝١٧٢ Āyah 172

وَأَمْطَرْنَاand we rained عَلَيْهِمupon them مَّطَرًاa rain فَسَآءَand evil was مَطَرُ(was) the rain ٱلْمُنذَرِينَ(on) those who were warned۝١٧٣ Āyah 173

إِنَّindeed فِىin ذَٰلِكَthat لَـَٔايَةًsurely is a sign وَمَاbut not كَانَare أَكْثَرُهُمmost of them مُّؤْمِنِينَbelievers۝١٧٤ Āyah 174

وَإِنَّand indeed رَبَّكَyour lord لَهُوَsurely he ٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the all mighty ٱلرَّحِيمُthe most merciful۝١٧٥ Āyah 175
