سبإ

وَمَآand not أَمْوَٰلُكُمْyour wealth وَلَآand not أَوْلَٰدُكُمyour children بِٱلَّتِى[that] تُقَرِّبُكُمْwill bring you close عِندَنَاto us زُلْفَىٰٓ(in) position إِلَّاbut مَنْwhoever ءَامَنَbelieves وَعَمِلَand does صَٰلِحًاrighteousness فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthen those لَهُمْfor them جَزَآءُ(will be) reward ٱلضِّعْفِtwo fold بِمَاfor what عَمِلُوا۟they did وَهُمْand they فِى(will be) in ٱلْغُرُفَٰتِthe high dwellings ءَامِنُونَsecure۝٣٧ Āyah 37

وَٱلَّذِينَand those who يَسْعَوْنَstrive فِىٓagainst ءَايَٰتِنَاour verses مُعَٰجِزِينَ(to) cause failure أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose فِىinto ٱلْعَذَابِthe punishment مُحْضَرُونَ(will be) brought۝٣٨ Āyah 38

قُلْsay إِنَّindeed رَبِّىmy lord يَبْسُطُextends ٱلرِّزْقَthe provision لِمَنfor whom يَشَآءُhe wills مِنْof عِبَادِهِۦhis slaves وَيَقْدِرُand restricts لَهُۥfor him وَمَآbut what أَنفَقْتُمyou spend مِّنof شَىْءٍanything فَهُوَthen he يُخْلِفُهُۥwill compensate it وَهُوَand he خَيْرُ(is the) best ٱلرَّٰزِقِينَ(of) the providers۝٣٩ Āyah 39

وَيَوْمَand (the) day يَحْشُرُهُمْhe will gather them جَمِيعًاall ثُمَّthen يَقُولُhe will say لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِto the angels أَهَٰٓؤُلَآءِwere these you إِيَّاكُمْwere these you كَانُوا۟they were يَعْبُدُونَworshipping۝٤٠ Āyah 40

قَالُوا۟they will say سُبْحَٰنَكَglory be to أَنتَyou وَلِيُّنَا(are) our protector مِنnot them دُونِهِمnot them بَلْnay كَانُوا۟they used يَعْبُدُونَ(to) worship ٱلْجِنَّthe jinn أَكْثَرُهُمmost of them بِهِمin them مُّؤْمِنُونَ(were) believers۝٤١ Āyah 41

فَٱلْيَوْمَbut today لَاnot يَمْلِكُpossess power بَعْضُكُمْsome of you لِبَعْضٍon others نَّفْعًاto benefit وَلَاand not ضَرًّاto harm وَنَقُولُand we will say لِلَّذِينَto those ظَلَمُوا۟who wronged ذُوقُوا۟taste عَذَابَ(the) punishment ٱلنَّارِ(of) the fire ٱلَّتِىwhich كُنتُمyou used بِهَاto [it] تُكَذِّبُونَdeny۝٤٢ Āyah 42

وَإِذَاand when تُتْلَىٰare recited عَلَيْهِمْto them ءَايَٰتُنَاour verses بَيِّنَٰتٍclear قَالُوا۟they say مَاnot هَٰذَآ(is) this إِلَّاbut رَجُلٌa man يُرِيدُwho wishes أَنto يَصُدَّكُمْhinder you عَمَّاfrom what كَانَused يَعْبُدُ(to) worship ءَابَآؤُكُمْyour forefathers وَقَالُوا۟and they say مَاnot هَٰذَآ(is) this إِلَّآexcept إِفْكٌa lie مُّفْتَرًىinvented وَقَالَand said ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieved لِلْحَقِّabout the truth لَمَّاwhen جَآءَهُمْit came to them إِنْnot هَٰذَآ(is) this إِلَّاexcept سِحْرٌa magic مُّبِينٌobvious۝٤٣ Āyah 43

وَمَآand not ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمwe (had) given them مِّنany كُتُبٍscriptures يَدْرُسُونَهَاwhich they could study وَمَآand not أَرْسَلْنَآwe sent إِلَيْهِمْto them قَبْلَكَbefore you مِنany نَّذِيرٍwarner۝٤٤ Āyah 44

وَكَذَّبَand denied ٱلَّذِينَthose who مِن(were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ(were) before them وَمَاand not بَلَغُوا۟they have attained مِعْشَارَa tenth مَآ(of) what ءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْwe (had) given them فَكَذَّبُوا۟but they denied رُسُلِىmy messengers فَكَيْفَso how كَانَwas نَكِيرِmy rejection۝٤٥ Āyah 45
