غافر

ٱللَّهُallah ٱلَّذِى(is) the one who جَعَلَmade لَكُمُfor you ٱلْأَنْعَٰمَthe cattle لِتَرْكَبُوا۟that you may ride مِنْهَاsome of them وَمِنْهَاand some of them تَأْكُلُونَyou eat۝٧٩ Āyah 79

وَلَكُمْand for you فِيهَاin them مَنَٰفِعُ(are) benefits وَلِتَبْلُغُوا۟and that you may reach عَلَيْهَاthrough them حَاجَةًa need فِى(that is) in صُدُورِكُمْyour breasts; وَعَلَيْهَاand upon them وَعَلَىand upon ٱلْفُلْكِthe ships تُحْمَلُونَyou are carried۝٨٠ Āyah 80

وَيُرِيكُمْand he shows you ءَايَٰتِهِۦhis signs فَأَىَّthen which ءَايَٰتِ(of the) signs ٱللَّهِ(of) allah تُنكِرُونَwill you deny۝٨١ Āyah 81

أَفَلَمْdo they not يَسِيرُوا۟travel فِىthrough ٱلْأَرْضِthe land فَيَنظُرُوا۟and see كَيْفَhow كَانَwas عَٰقِبَةُ(the) end ٱلَّذِينَ(of) those who مِن(were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ(were) before them كَانُوٓا۟they were أَكْثَرَmore numerous مِنْهُمْthan them وَأَشَدَّand mightier قُوَّةً(in) strength وَءَاثَارًاand impressions فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe land فَمَآbut not أَغْنَىٰavailed عَنْهُمthem مَّاwhat كَانُوا۟they used to يَكْسِبُونَearn۝٨٢ Āyah 82

فَلَمَّاthen when جَآءَتْهُمْcame to them رُسُلُهُمtheir messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِwith clear proofs فَرِحُوا۟they rejoiced بِمَاin what عِندَهُمthey had مِّنَof ٱلْعِلْمِthe knowledge وَحَاقَand enveloped بِهِمthem مَّاwhat كَانُوا۟they used to بِهِۦ[at it] يَسْتَهْزِءُونَmock۝٨٣ Āyah 83

فَلَمَّاso when رَأَوْا۟they saw بَأْسَنَاour punishment قَالُوٓا۟they said ءَامَنَّاwe believe بِٱللَّهِin allah وَحْدَهُۥalone وَكَفَرْنَاand we disbelieve بِمَاin what كُنَّاwe used to بِهِۦwith him مُشْرِكِينَassociate۝٨٤ Āyah 84

فَلَمْbut did not يَكُbut did not يَنفَعُهُمْbenefit them إِيمَٰنُهُمْtheir faith لَمَّاwhen رَأَوْا۟they saw بَأْسَنَاour punishment سُنَّتَ(such is the) way ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلَّتِىwhich قَدْ(has) indeed خَلَتْpreceded فِىamong عِبَادِهِۦhis slaves وَخَسِرَand are lost هُنَالِكَthere ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَthe disbelievers۝٨٥ Āyah 85
