الجاثية

وَلِلَّهِand for allah مُلْكُ(is the) dominion ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِand the earth; وَيَوْمَand (the) day تَقُومُis established ٱلسَّاعَةُthe hour يَوْمَئِذٍthat day يَخْسَرُwill lose ٱلْمُبْطِلُونَthe falsifiers۝٢٧ Āyah 27

وَتَرَىٰand you will see كُلَّevery أُمَّةٍnation جَاثِيَةًkneeling كُلُّevery أُمَّةٍnation تُدْعَىٰٓwill be called إِلَىٰto كِتَٰبِهَاits record ٱلْيَوْمَtoday تُجْزَوْنَyou will be recompensed مَا(for) what كُنتُمْyou used to تَعْمَلُونَdo۝٢٨ Āyah 28

هَٰذَاthis كِتَٰبُنَاour record يَنطِقُspeaks عَلَيْكُمabout you بِٱلْحَقِّin truth إِنَّاindeed we كُنَّا[we] used to نَسْتَنسِخُtranscribe مَاwhat كُنتُمْyou used to تَعْمَلُونَdo۝٢٩ Āyah 29

فَأَمَّاthen as for ٱلَّذِينَthose who ءَامَنُوا۟believed وَعَمِلُوا۟and did ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ[the] righteous deeds فَيُدْخِلُهُمْwill admit them رَبُّهُمْtheir lord فِىin(to) رَحْمَتِهِۦhis mercy ذَٰلِكَthat هُوَ[it] ٱلْفَوْزُ(is) the success ٱلْمُبِينُclear۝٣٠ Āyah 30

وَأَمَّاbut as for ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوٓا۟disbelieved أَفَلَمْthen were not تَكُنْthen were not ءَايَٰتِىmy verses تُتْلَىٰrecited عَلَيْكُمْto you فَٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْbut you were proud وَكُنتُمْand you became قَوْمًاa people مُّجْرِمِينَcriminals۝٣١ Āyah 31

وَإِذَاand when قِيلَit was said إِنَّindeed وَعْدَ(the) promise ٱللَّهِ(of) allah حَقٌّ(is) true وَٱلسَّاعَةُand the hour لَا(there is) no رَيْبَdoubt فِيهَاabout it قُلْتُمyou said مَّاnot نَدْرِىwe know مَاwhat ٱلسَّاعَةُthe hour (is) إِنnot نَّظُنُّwe think إِلَّاexcept ظَنًّاan assumption وَمَاand not نَحْنُwe بِمُسْتَيْقِنِينَ(are) convinced۝٣٢ Āyah 32

وَبَدَاand (will) appear لَهُمْto them سَيِّـَٔاتُ(the) evil مَا(of) what عَمِلُوا۟they did وَحَاقَand (will) envelop بِهِمthem مَّاwhat كَانُوا۟they used بِهِۦ[at it] يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ(to) mock۝٣٣ Āyah 33

وَقِيلَand it will be said ٱلْيَوْمَtoday نَنسَىٰكُمْwe forget you كَمَاas نَسِيتُمْyou forgot لِقَآءَ(the) meeting يَوْمِكُمْ(of) this day of yours هَٰذَا(of) this day of yours وَمَأْوَىٰكُمُand your abode ٱلنَّارُ(is) the fire وَمَاand not لَكُمfor you مِّنany نَّٰصِرِينَhelpers۝٣٤ Āyah 34

ذَٰلِكُمthat بِأَنَّكُمُ(is) because you ٱتَّخَذْتُمْtook ءَايَٰتِ(the) verses ٱللَّهِ(of) allah هُزُوًا(in) ridicule وَغَرَّتْكُمُand deceived you ٱلْحَيَوٰةُthe life ٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the world فَٱلْيَوْمَso this day لَاnot يُخْرَجُونَthey will be brought forth مِنْهَاfrom it وَلَاand not هُمْthey يُسْتَعْتَبُونَwill be asked to appease۝٣٥ Āyah 35

فَلِلَّهِthen for allah ٱلْحَمْدُ(is) all the praise رَبِّ(the) lord ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavens وَرَبِّand (the) lord ٱلْأَرْضِ(of) the earth رَبِّ(the) lord ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَ(of) the worlds۝٣٦ Āyah 36

وَلَهُand for him ٱلْكِبْرِيَآءُ(is) the greatness فِىin ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِand the earth وَهُوَand he ٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the all mighty ٱلْحَكِيمُthe all wise۝٣٧ Āyah 37
