محمد

وَيَقُولُand say ٱلَّذِينَthose who ءَامَنُوا۟believe لَوْلَاwhy not نُزِّلَتْhas been revealed سُورَةٌa surah فَإِذَآbut when أُنزِلَتْis revealed سُورَةٌa surah مُّحْكَمَةٌprecise وَذُكِرَand is mentioned فِيهَاin it ٱلْقِتَالُthe fighting رَأَيْتَyou see ٱلَّذِينَthose who فِىin قُلُوبِهِمtheir hearts مَّرَضٌ(is) a disease يَنظُرُونَlooking إِلَيْكَat you نَظَرَa look ٱلْمَغْشِىِّ(of) one fainting عَلَيْهِ(of) one fainting مِنَfrom ٱلْمَوْتِthe death فَأَوْلَىٰbut more appropriate لَهُمْfor them۝٢٠ Āyah 20

طَاعَةٌ(is) obedience وَقَوْلٌand a word مَّعْرُوفٌkind فَإِذَاand when عَزَمَ(is) determined ٱلْأَمْرُthe matter فَلَوْthen if صَدَقُوا۟they had been true ٱللَّهَ(to) allah لَكَانَsurely it would have been خَيْرًاbetter لَّهُمْfor them۝٢١ Āyah 21

فَهَلْthen would عَسَيْتُمْyou perhaps إِنif تَوَلَّيْتُمْyou are given أَنthat تُفْسِدُوا۟you cause corruption فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth وَتُقَطِّعُوٓا۟and cut off أَرْحَامَكُمْyour ties of kinship۝٢٢ Āyah 22

أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthose ٱلَّذِينَ(are) the ones لَعَنَهُمُallah has cursed them ٱللَّهُallah has cursed them فَأَصَمَّهُمْso he made them deaf وَأَعْمَىٰٓand blinded أَبْصَٰرَهُمْtheir vision۝٢٣ Āyah 23

أَفَلَاthen do not يَتَدَبَّرُونَthey ponder ٱلْقُرْءَانَ(over) the quran أَمْor عَلَىٰupon قُلُوبٍ(their) hearts أَقْفَالُهَآ(are) locks۝٢٤ Āyah 24

إِنَّindeed ٱلَّذِينَthose who ٱرْتَدُّوا۟return عَلَىٰٓon أَدْبَٰرِهِمtheir backs مِّنۢafter بَعْدِafter مَاwhat تَبَيَّنَ(has) become clear لَهُمُto them ٱلْهُدَى(of) the guidance ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُshaitaan سَوَّلَenticed لَهُمْ[for] them وَأَمْلَىٰand prolonged hope لَهُمْfor them۝٢٥ Āyah 25

ذَٰلِكَthat بِأَنَّهُمْ(is) because they قَالُوا۟[they] said لِلَّذِينَto those who كَرِهُوا۟hate مَاwhat نَزَّلَallah has revealed ٱللَّهُallah has revealed سَنُطِيعُكُمْwe will obey you فِىin بَعْضِpart ٱلْأَمْرِ(of) the matter وَٱللَّهُbut allah يَعْلَمُknows إِسْرَارَهُمْtheir secrets۝٢٦ Āyah 26

فَكَيْفَthen how إِذَاwhen تَوَفَّتْهُمُtake them in death ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُthe angels يَضْرِبُونَstriking وُجُوهَهُمْtheir faces وَأَدْبَٰرَهُمْand their backs۝٢٧ Āyah 27

ذَٰلِكَthat بِأَنَّهُمُ(is) because they ٱتَّبَعُوا۟followed مَآwhat أَسْخَطَangered ٱللَّهَallah وَكَرِهُوا۟and hated رِضْوَٰنَهُۥhis pleasure فَأَحْبَطَso he made worthless أَعْمَٰلَهُمْtheir deeds۝٢٨ Āyah 28
