الجن

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

قُلْsay أُوحِىَit has been إِلَىَّto me أَنَّهُthat ٱسْتَمَعَlistened نَفَرٌa group مِّنَof ٱلْجِنِّthe jinn فَقَالُوٓا۟and they said إِنَّاindeed we سَمِعْنَاheard قُرْءَانًاa quran عَجَبًاamazing۝١ Āyah 1

يَهْدِىٓit guides إِلَىto ٱلرُّشْدِthe right way فَـَٔامَنَّاso we believe بِهِۦin it وَلَنand never نُّشْرِكَwe will associate بِرَبِّنَآwith our lord أَحَدًاanyone۝٢ Āyah 2

وَأَنَّهُۥand that he تَعَٰلَىٰexalted is جَدُّ(the) majesty رَبِّنَا(of) our lord مَاnot ٱتَّخَذَhe has taken صَٰحِبَةًa wife وَلَاand not وَلَدًاa son۝٣ Āyah 3

وَأَنَّهُۥand that he كَانَused to يَقُولُspeak سَفِيهُنَاthe foolish among us عَلَىagainst ٱللَّهِallah شَطَطًاan excessive transgression۝٤ Āyah 4

وَأَنَّاand that we ظَنَنَّآthought أَنthat لَّنnever تَقُولَwill say ٱلْإِنسُthe men وَٱلْجِنُّand the jinn عَلَىagainst ٱللَّهِallah كَذِبًاany lie۝٥ Āyah 5

وَأَنَّهُۥand that كَانَ(there) were رِجَالٌmen مِّنَamong ٱلْإِنسِmankind يَعُوذُونَwho sought refuge بِرِجَالٍin (the) men مِّنَfrom ٱلْجِنِّthe jinn فَزَادُوهُمْso they increased them رَهَقًا(in) burden۝٦ Āyah 6

وَأَنَّهُمْand that they ظَنُّوا۟thought كَمَاas ظَنَنتُمْyou thought أَنthat لَّنnever يَبْعَثَwill raise ٱللَّهُallah أَحَدًاanyone۝٧ Āyah 7

وَأَنَّاand that we لَمَسْنَاsought to touch ٱلسَّمَآءَthe heaven فَوَجَدْنَٰهَاbut we found it مُلِئَتْfilled (with) حَرَسًاguards شَدِيدًاsevere وَشُهُبًاand flaming fires۝٨ Āyah 8

وَأَنَّاand that we كُنَّاused to نَقْعُدُsit مِنْهَاthere in مَقَٰعِدَpositions لِلسَّمْعِfor hearing فَمَنbut (he) who يَسْتَمِعِlistens ٱلْـَٔانَnow يَجِدْwill find لَهُۥfor him شِهَابًاa flaming fire رَّصَدًاwaiting۝٩ Āyah 9

وَأَنَّاand that we لَاnot نَدْرِىٓwe know أَشَرٌّwhether evil أُرِيدَis intended بِمَنfor (those) who فِى(are) in ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth أَمْor أَرَادَintends بِهِمْfor them رَبُّهُمْtheir lord رَشَدًاa right path۝١٠ Āyah 10

وَأَنَّاand that [we] مِنَّاamong us ٱلصَّٰلِحُونَ(are) the righteous وَمِنَّاand among us دُونَ(are) other than ذَٰلِكَthat كُنَّاwe طَرَآئِقَ(are on) ways قِدَدًاdifferent۝١١ Āyah 11

وَأَنَّاand that we ظَنَنَّآ[we] have become certain أَنthat لَّنnever نُّعْجِزَwe will cause failure ٱللَّهَ(to) allah فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth وَلَنand never نُّعْجِزَهُۥwe can escape him هَرَبًا(by) flight۝١٢ Āyah 12

وَأَنَّاand that [we] لَمَّاwhen سَمِعْنَاwe heard ٱلْهُدَىٰٓthe guidance ءَامَنَّاwe believed بِهِۦin it فَمَنand whoever يُؤْمِنۢbelieves بِرَبِّهِۦin his lord فَلَاthen not يَخَافُhe will fear بَخْسًاany loss وَلَاand not رَهَقًاany burden۝١٣ Āyah 13

وَأَنَّاand that we مِنَّاamong us ٱلْمُسْلِمُونَ(are) muslims وَمِنَّاand among us ٱلْقَٰسِطُونَ(are) unjust فَمَنْand whoever أَسْلَمَsubmits فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthen those تَحَرَّوْا۟have sought رَشَدًا(the) right path۝١٤ Āyah 14

وَأَمَّاand as for ٱلْقَٰسِطُونَthe unjust فَكَانُوا۟they will be لِجَهَنَّمَfor hell حَطَبًاfirewood۝١٥ Āyah 15

وَأَلَّوِand that if ٱسْتَقَٰمُوا۟they had remained عَلَىon ٱلطَّرِيقَةِthe way لَأَسْقَيْنَٰهُمsurely we (would) have given them to drink مَّآءًwater غَدَقًا(in) abundance۝١٦ Āyah 16

لِّنَفْتِنَهُمْthat we might test them فِيهِtherein وَمَنand whoever يُعْرِضْturns away عَنfrom ذِكْرِthe remembrance رَبِّهِۦ(of) his lord يَسْلُكْهُhe will make him enter عَذَابًاa punishment صَعَدًاsevere۝١٧ Āyah 17

وَأَنَّand that ٱلْمَسَٰجِدَthe لِلَّهِ(are) for allah فَلَاso (do) not تَدْعُوا۟call مَعَwith ٱللَّهِallah أَحَدًاanyone۝١٨ Āyah 18

وَأَنَّهُۥand that لَمَّاwhen قَامَstood up عَبْدُ(the) slave ٱللَّهِ(of) allah يَدْعُوهُcalling (upon) him كَادُوا۟they almost يَكُونُونَbecame عَلَيْهِaround him لِبَدًاa compacted mass۝١٩ Āyah 19
