يونس

وَإِنand if كَذَّبُوكَthey deny you فَقُلthen say لِّىfor me عَمَلِى(are) my deeds وَلَكُمْand for you عَمَلُكُمْ(are) your deeds أَنتُمyou بَرِيٓـُٔونَ(are) disassociated مِمَّآfrom what أَعْمَلُi do وَأَنَا۠and i am بَرِىٓءٌdisassociated مِّمَّاfrom what تَعْمَلُونَyou do۝٤١ Āyah 41

وَمِنْهُمand among them مَّن(are some) who يَسْتَمِعُونَlisten إِلَيْكَto you أَفَأَنتَbut (can) you تُسْمِعُcause the deaf to hear ٱلصُّمَّcause the deaf to hear وَلَوْeven though كَانُوا۟they [were] لَا(do) not يَعْقِلُونَuse reason۝٤٢ Āyah 42

وَمِنْهُمand among them مَّن(are some) who يَنظُرُlook إِلَيْكَat you أَفَأَنتَbut (can) you تَهْدِىguide ٱلْعُمْىَthe blind وَلَوْeven though كَانُوا۟they [were] لَا(do) not يُبْصِرُونَsee۝٤٣ Āyah 43

إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah لَا(does) not يَظْلِمُwrong ٱلنَّاسَthe people شَيْـًٔا(in) anything وَلَٰكِنَّbut ٱلنَّاسَthe people أَنفُسَهُمْwrong themselves يَظْلِمُونَwrong themselves۝٤٤ Āyah 44

وَيَوْمَand the day يَحْشُرُهُمْhe will gather them كَأَنas if لَّمْthey had not remained يَلْبَثُوٓا۟they had not remained إِلَّاexcept سَاعَةًan hour مِّنَof ٱلنَّهَارِthe day يَتَعَارَفُونَthey will recognize each other بَيْنَهُمْbetween them قَدْcertainly خَسِرَ(will have) lost ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَذَّبُوا۟denied بِلِقَآءِthe meeting ٱللَّهِ(with) allah وَمَاand not كَانُوا۟they were مُهْتَدِينَthe guided ones۝٤٥ Āyah 45

وَإِمَّاand whether نُرِيَنَّكَwe show you بَعْضَsome ٱلَّذِى(of) that which نَعِدُهُمْwe promised them أَوْor نَتَوَفَّيَنَّكَwe cause you to die فَإِلَيْنَاthen to us مَرْجِعُهُمْ(is) their return ثُمَّthen ٱللَّهُallah شَهِيدٌ(is) a witness عَلَىٰover مَاwhat يَفْعَلُونَthey do۝٤٦ Āyah 46

وَلِكُلِّand for every أُمَّةٍnation رَّسُولٌ(is) a messenger فَإِذَاso when جَآءَcomes رَسُولُهُمْtheir messenger قُضِىَit will be judged بَيْنَهُمbetween them بِٱلْقِسْطِin justice وَهُمْand they لَا(will) not يُظْلَمُونَbe wronged۝٤٧ Āyah 47

وَيَقُولُونَand they say مَتَىٰwhen هَٰذَا(will) this ٱلْوَعْدُthe promise (be fulfilled) إِنif كُنتُمْyou are صَٰدِقِينَtruthful۝٤٨ Āyah 48

قُلsay لَّآnot أَمْلِكُi have power لِنَفْسِىfor myself ضَرًّا(for) any harm وَلَاand not نَفْعًا(for) any profit إِلَّاexcept مَاwhat شَآءَallah wills ٱللَّهُallah wills لِكُلِّfor every أُمَّةٍnation أَجَلٌ(is) a term إِذَاwhen جَآءَcomes أَجَلُهُمْtheir term فَلَاthen not يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَthey remain behind سَاعَةًan hour وَلَاand not يَسْتَقْدِمُونَthey can precede (it)۝٤٩ Āyah 49

قُلْsay أَرَءَيْتُمْdo you see إِنْif أَتَىٰكُمْcomes to you عَذَابُهُۥhis punishment بَيَٰتًا(by) night أَوْor نَهَارًا(by) day مَّاذَاwhat (portion) يَسْتَعْجِلُof it would (wish to) hasten مِنْهُof it would (wish to) hasten ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَthe criminals۝٥٠ Āyah 50

أَثُمَّis (it) then إِذَاwhen مَاwhen وَقَعَ(it had) occurred ءَامَنتُمyou (will) believe بِهِۦٓin it ءَآلْـَٰٔنَnow وَقَدْand certainly كُنتُمyou were بِهِۦseeking to hasten it تَسْتَعْجِلُونَseeking to hasten it۝٥١ Āyah 51

ثُمَّthen قِيلَit will be said لِلَّذِينَto those who ظَلَمُوا۟wronged ذُوقُوا۟taste عَذَابَpunishment ٱلْخُلْدِthe everlasting هَلْare you (being) recompensed تُجْزَوْنَare you (being) recompensed إِلَّاexcept بِمَاfor what كُنتُمْyou used (to) تَكْسِبُونَearn۝٥٢ Āyah 52

وَيَسْتَنۢبِـُٔونَكَand they ask you to inform أَحَقٌّis it true هُوَis it true قُلْsay إِىyes وَرَبِّىٓby my lord إِنَّهُۥindeed it لَحَقٌّ(is) surely the truth وَمَآand not أَنتُمyou بِمُعْجِزِينَ(can) escape (it)۝٥٣ Āyah 53
