ابراهيم

وَلَاand (do) not تَحْسَبَنَّthink ٱللَّهَ(that) allah غَٰفِلًا(is) unaware عَمَّاof what يَعْمَلُdo ٱلظَّٰلِمُونَthe wrongdoers إِنَّمَاonly يُؤَخِّرُهُمْhe gives them لِيَوْمٍto a day تَشْخَصُwill stare فِيهِin it ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُthe eyes۝٤٢ Āyah 42

مُهْطِعِينَracing ahead مُقْنِعِىraised up رُءُوسِهِمْtheir heads لَاnot يَرْتَدُّreturning إِلَيْهِمْtowards them طَرْفُهُمْtheir gaze وَأَفْـِٔدَتُهُمْand their hearts هَوَآءٌ(are) empty۝٤٣ Āyah 43

وَأَنذِرِand warn ٱلنَّاسَthe mankind يَوْمَ(of) a day يَأْتِيهِمُ(when) will come to them ٱلْعَذَابُthe punishment فَيَقُولُthen will say ٱلَّذِينَthose who ظَلَمُوا۟did wrong رَبَّنَآour lord أَخِّرْنَآrespite us إِلَىٰٓfor أَجَلٍa term قَرِيبٍshort; نُّجِبْwe will answer دَعْوَتَكَyour call وَنَتَّبِعِand we will follow ٱلرُّسُلَthe messengers أَوَلَمْhad not تَكُونُوٓا۟you أَقْسَمْتُمsworn مِّنbefore قَبْلُbefore مَاnot لَكُمfor you مِّنany زَوَالٍend۝٤٤ Āyah 44

وَسَكَنتُمْand you dwelt فِىin مَسَٰكِنِthe dwellings ٱلَّذِينَ(of) those who ظَلَمُوٓا۟wronged أَنفُسَهُمْthemselves وَتَبَيَّنَand it had become clear لَكُمْto you كَيْفَhow فَعَلْنَاwe dealt بِهِمْwith them وَضَرَبْنَاand we put forth لَكُمُfor you ٱلْأَمْثَالَthe examples۝٤٥ Āyah 45

وَقَدْand indeed مَكَرُوا۟they planned مَكْرَهُمْtheir plan وَعِندَbut with ٱللَّهِallah مَكْرُهُمْ(was) their plan وَإِنeven if كَانَwas مَكْرُهُمْtheir plan لِتَزُولَthat should be moved مِنْهُby it ٱلْجِبَالُthe mountains۝٤٦ Āyah 46

فَلَاso (do) not تَحْسَبَنَّthink ٱللَّهَ(that) allah مُخْلِفَwill fail وَعْدِهِۦ(to) keep his promise رُسُلَهُۥٓ(to) his messengers إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah عَزِيزٌ(is) all mighty ذُوowner (of) retribution ٱنتِقَامٍowner (of) retribution۝٤٧ Āyah 47

يَوْمَ(on the) day تُبَدَّلُwill be changed ٱلْأَرْضُthe earth غَيْرَ(to) other (than) ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُand the heavens وَبَرَزُوا۟and they will come forth لِلَّهِbefore allah ٱلْوَٰحِدِthe one ٱلْقَهَّارِthe irresistible۝٤٨ Āyah 48

وَتَرَىand you will see ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَthe criminals يَوْمَئِذٍ(on) that day مُّقَرَّنِينَbound together فِىin ٱلْأَصْفَادِthe chains۝٤٩ Āyah 49

سَرَابِيلُهُمtheir garments مِّنof قَطِرَانٍtar وَتَغْشَىٰand will cover وُجُوهَهُمُtheir faces ٱلنَّارُthe fire۝٥٠ Āyah 50

لِيَجْزِىَso that allah may recompense ٱللَّهُso that allah may recompense كُلَّeach نَفْسٍsoul مَّا(for) what كَسَبَتْit earned إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah سَرِيعُ(is) swift ٱلْحِسَابِ(in) the reckoning۝٥١ Āyah 51

هَٰذَاthis بَلَٰغٌ(is) a message لِّلنَّاسِfor the mankind وَلِيُنذَرُوا۟that they may be warned بِهِۦwith it وَلِيَعْلَمُوٓا۟and that they may know أَنَّمَاthat only هُوَhe إِلَٰهٌ(is) one god وَٰحِدٌ(is) one god وَلِيَذَّكَّرَand that may take heed أُو۟لُوا۟men ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ(of) understanding۝٥٢ Āyah 52
