الحجر

وَلَقَدْand certainly كَذَّبَdenied أَصْحَٰبُ(the) companions ٱلْحِجْرِ(of) the rocky tract ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَthe messengers۝٨٠ Āyah 80

وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمْand we gave them ءَايَٰتِنَاour signs فَكَانُوا۟but they were عَنْهَاfrom them مُعْرِضِينَturning away۝٨١ Āyah 81

وَكَانُوا۟and they used (to) يَنْحِتُونَcarve مِنَfrom ٱلْجِبَالِthe mountains بُيُوتًاhouses ءَامِنِينَsecure۝٨٢ Āyah 82

فَأَخَذَتْهُمُbut seized them ٱلصَّيْحَةُthe awful cry مُصْبِحِينَ(at) early morning۝٨٣ Āyah 83

فَمَآand not أَغْنَىٰavailed عَنْهُمthem مَّاwhat كَانُوا۟they used (to) يَكْسِبُونَearn۝٨٤ Āyah 84

وَمَاand not خَلَقْنَاwe created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَand the earth وَمَاand whatever بَيْنَهُمَآ(is) between them إِلَّاexcept بِٱلْحَقِّin truth وَإِنَّand indeed ٱلسَّاعَةَthe hour لَـَٔاتِيَةٌ(is) surely coming فَٱصْفَحِso overlook ٱلصَّفْحَ(with) forgiveness ٱلْجَمِيلَgracious۝٨٥ Āyah 85

إِنَّindeed رَبَّكَyour lord هُوَhe ٱلْخَلَّٰقُ(is) the creator ٱلْعَلِيمُthe all knower۝٨٦ Āyah 86

وَلَقَدْand certainly ءَاتَيْنَٰكَwe have given you سَبْعًاseven مِّنَof ٱلْمَثَانِىthe oft repeated وَٱلْقُرْءَانَand the quran ٱلْعَظِيمَgreat۝٨٧ Āyah 87

لَا(do) not تَمُدَّنَّextend عَيْنَيْكَyour eyes إِلَىٰtowards مَاwhat مَتَّعْنَاwe have bestowed بِهِۦٓwith it أَزْوَٰجًا(to) categories مِّنْهُمْof them وَلَاand (do) not تَحْزَنْgrieve عَلَيْهِمْover them وَٱخْفِضْand lower جَنَاحَكَyour wing لِلْمُؤْمِنِينَto the believers۝٨٨ Āyah 88

وَقُلْand say إِنِّىٓindeed i أَنَا[i] am ٱلنَّذِيرُa warner ٱلْمُبِينُclear۝٨٩ Āyah 89

كَمَآas أَنزَلْنَاwe sent down عَلَىon ٱلْمُقْتَسِمِينَthose who divided۝٩٠ Āyah 90

ٱلَّذِينَthose who جَعَلُوا۟have made ٱلْقُرْءَانَthe quran عِضِينَ(in) parts۝٩١ Āyah 91

فَوَرَبِّكَso by your lord لَنَسْـَٔلَنَّهُمْsurely we will question them أَجْمَعِينَall۝٩٢ Āyah 92

عَمَّاabout what كَانُوا۟they used (to) يَعْمَلُونَdo۝٩٣ Āyah 93

فَٱصْدَعْso proclaim بِمَاof what تُؤْمَرُyou are ordered وَأَعْرِضْand turn away عَنِfrom ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَthe polytheists۝٩٤ Āyah 94

إِنَّاindeed we كَفَيْنَٰكَ[we] are sufficient for you ٱلْمُسْتَهْزِءِينَ(against) the mockers۝٩٥ Āyah 95

ٱلَّذِينَthose who يَجْعَلُونَset up مَعَwith ٱللَّهِallah إِلَٰهًاgod ءَاخَرَanother فَسَوْفَbut soon يَعْلَمُونَthey will come to know۝٩٦ Āyah 96

وَلَقَدْand verily نَعْلَمُwe know أَنَّكَthat [you] يَضِيقُ(is) straitened صَدْرُكَyour breast بِمَاby what يَقُولُونَthey say۝٩٧ Āyah 97

فَسَبِّحْso glorify بِحَمْدِwith the praise رَبِّكَ(of) your lord وَكُنand be مِّنَof ٱلسَّٰجِدِينَthose who prostrate۝٩٨ Āyah 98

وَٱعْبُدْand worship رَبَّكَyour lord حَتَّىٰuntil يَأْتِيَكَcomes to you ٱلْيَقِينُthe certainty۝٩٩ Āyah 99
