الإسراء

وَلَقَدْand certainly ءَاتَيْنَاwe had given مُوسَىٰmusa تِسْعَnine ءَايَٰتٍۭsigns بَيِّنَٰتٍclear فَسْـَٔلْso ask بَنِىٓ(the) children of israel إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ(the) children of israel إِذْwhen جَآءَهُمْhe came to them فَقَالَthen said لَهُۥto him فِرْعَوْنُfiraun إِنِّىindeed i لَأَظُنُّكَ[i] think you يَٰمُوسَىٰo musa مَسْحُورًا(you are) bewitched۝١٠١ Āyah 101

قَالَhe said لَقَدْverily عَلِمْتَyou know مَآnone أَنزَلَhas sent down هَٰٓؤُلَآءِthese إِلَّاexcept رَبُّ(the) lord ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِand the earth بَصَآئِرَ(as) evidence وَإِنِّىand indeed i لَأَظُنُّكَ[i] surely think you يَٰفِرْعَوْنُo firaun مَثْبُورًا(you are) destroyed۝١٠٢ Āyah 102

فَأَرَادَso he intended أَنto يَسْتَفِزَّهُمdrive them out مِّنَfrom ٱلْأَرْضِthe land فَأَغْرَقْنَٰهُbut we drowned him وَمَنand who مَّعَهُۥ(were) with him جَمِيعًاall۝١٠٣ Āyah 103

وَقُلْنَاand we said مِنۢafter him بَعْدِهِۦafter him لِبَنِىٓto the children of israel إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَto the children of israel ٱسْكُنُوا۟dwell ٱلْأَرْضَ(in) the land فَإِذَاthen when جَآءَcomes وَعْدُ(the) promise ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ(of) the hereafter جِئْنَاwe will bring بِكُمْyou لَفِيفًا(as) a mixed crowd۝١٠٤ Āyah 104

وَبِٱلْحَقِّand with the أَنزَلْنَٰهُwe sent it down وَبِٱلْحَقِّand with the نَزَلَit descended وَمَآand not أَرْسَلْنَٰكَwe sent you إِلَّاexcept مُبَشِّرًا(as) a bearer of glad tidings وَنَذِيرًاand a warner۝١٠٥ Āyah 105

وَقُرْءَانًاand the quran فَرَقْنَٰهُwe have divided لِتَقْرَأَهُۥthat you might recite it عَلَىto ٱلنَّاسِthe people عَلَىٰat مُكْثٍintervals وَنَزَّلْنَٰهُand we have revealed it تَنزِيلًا(in) stages۝١٠٦ Āyah 106

قُلْsay ءَامِنُوا۟believe بِهِۦٓin it أَوْor لَا(do) not تُؤْمِنُوٓا۟believe إِنَّindeed ٱلَّذِينَthose who أُوتُوا۟were given ٱلْعِلْمَthe knowledge مِنbefore it قَبْلِهِۦٓbefore it إِذَاwhen يُتْلَىٰit is recited عَلَيْهِمْto them يَخِرُّونَthey fall لِلْأَذْقَانِon their faces سُجَّدًا(in) prostration۝١٠٧ Āyah 107

وَيَقُولُونَand they say سُبْحَٰنَglory be to رَبِّنَآour lord إِنindeed كَانَis وَعْدُ(the) promise رَبِّنَا(of) our lord لَمَفْعُولًاsurely fulfilled۝١٠٨ Āyah 108

وَيَخِرُّونَand they fall لِلْأَذْقَانِon their faces يَبْكُونَweeping وَيَزِيدُهُمْand it increases them خُشُوعًا(in) humility۝١٠٩ Āyah 109

قُلِsay ٱدْعُوا۟invoke ٱللَّهَallah أَوِor ٱدْعُوا۟invoke ٱلرَّحْمَٰنَthe most gracious أَيًّاby whatever (name) مَّاby whatever (name) تَدْعُوا۟you invoke فَلَهُto him (belongs) ٱلْأَسْمَآءُthe most beautiful names ٱلْحُسْنَىٰthe most beautiful names وَلَاand (do) not تَجْهَرْbe loud بِصَلَاتِكَin your prayers وَلَاand not تُخَافِتْbe silent بِهَاtherein وَٱبْتَغِbut seek بَيْنَbetween ذَٰلِكَthat سَبِيلًاa way۝١١٠ Āyah 110

وَقُلِand say ٱلْحَمْدُall praise لِلَّهِ(is) for allah ٱلَّذِىthe one who لَمْhas not taken يَتَّخِذْhas not taken وَلَدًاa son وَلَمْand not يَكُنis لَّهُۥfor him شَرِيكٌa partner فِىin ٱلْمُلْكِthe dominion وَلَمْand not يَكُنis لَّهُۥfor him وَلِىٌّany protector مِّنَout of ٱلذُّلِّweakness وَكَبِّرْهُand magnify him تَكْبِيرًۢا(with all) magnificence۝١١١ Āyah 111
