الإسراء

أَقِمِestablish ٱلصَّلَوٰةَthe prayer لِدُلُوكِat the decline ٱلشَّمْسِ(of) the sun إِلَىٰtill غَسَقِ(the) darkness ٱلَّيْلِ(of) the night وَقُرْءَانَand quran ٱلْفَجْرِat dawn إِنَّindeed قُرْءَانَthe quran ٱلْفَجْرِ(at) the dawn كَانَis مَشْهُودًاever witnessed۝٧٨ Āyah 78

وَمِنَand from ٱلَّيْلِthe night فَتَهَجَّدْarise from sleep for prayer بِهِۦwith it نَافِلَةً(as) additional لَّكَfor you; عَسَىٰٓit may be أَنthat يَبْعَثَكَwill raise you رَبُّكَyour lord مَقَامًا(to) a station مَّحْمُودًاpraiseworthy۝٧٩ Āyah 79

وَقُلand say رَّبِّmy lord أَدْخِلْنِىcause me to enter مُدْخَلَan entrance صِدْقٍsound وَأَخْرِجْنِىand cause me to مُخْرَجَan exit صِدْقٍsound وَٱجْعَلand make لِّىfor me مِنfrom لَّدُنكَnear you سُلْطَٰنًاan authority نَّصِيرًاhelping۝٨٠ Āyah 80

وَقُلْand say جَآءَhas come ٱلْحَقُّthe truth وَزَهَقَand perished ٱلْبَٰطِلُthe falsehood إِنَّindeed ٱلْبَٰطِلَthe falsehood كَانَis زَهُوقًا(bound) to perish۝٨١ Āyah 81

وَنُنَزِّلُand we reveal مِنَfrom ٱلْقُرْءَانِthe quran مَاthat هُوَit شِفَآءٌ(is) a healing وَرَحْمَةٌand a mercy لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَfor the believers وَلَاbut not يَزِيدُit increases ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَthe wrongdoers إِلَّاexcept خَسَارًا(in) loss۝٨٢ Āyah 82

وَإِذَآand when أَنْعَمْنَاwe bestow عَلَىon ٱلْإِنسَٰنِman أَعْرَضَhe turns away وَنَـَٔاand becomes remote بِجَانِبِهِۦon his side وَإِذَاand when مَسَّهُtouches him ٱلشَّرُّthe evil كَانَhe is يَـُٔوسًا(in) despair۝٨٣ Āyah 83

قُلْsay كُلٌّeach يَعْمَلُworks عَلَىٰon شَاكِلَتِهِۦhis manner فَرَبُّكُمْbut your lord أَعْلَمُ(is) most knowing بِمَنْof who هُوَ[he] أَهْدَىٰ(is) best guided سَبِيلًا(in) way۝٨٤ Āyah 84
