الإسراء

وَيَسْـَٔلُونَكَand they ask you عَنِconcerning ٱلرُّوحِthe soul قُلِsay ٱلرُّوحُthe soul مِنْ(is) of أَمْرِ(the) affair رَبِّى(of) my lord وَمَآand not أُوتِيتُمyou have been given مِّنَof ٱلْعِلْمِthe knowledge إِلَّاexcept قَلِيلًاa little۝٨٥ Āyah 85

وَلَئِنand if شِئْنَاwe willed لَنَذْهَبَنَّwe (would) have surely taken away بِٱلَّذِىٓthat which أَوْحَيْنَآwe have revealed إِلَيْكَto you ثُمَّthen لَاnot تَجِدُyou would find لَكَfor you بِهِۦconcerning it عَلَيْنَاagainst us وَكِيلًاany advocate۝٨٦ Āyah 86

إِلَّاexcept رَحْمَةًa mercy مِّنfrom رَّبِّكَyour lord إِنَّindeed فَضْلَهُۥhis bounty كَانَis عَلَيْكَupon you كَبِيرًاgreat۝٨٧ Āyah 87

قُلsay لَّئِنِif ٱجْتَمَعَتِgathered ٱلْإِنسُthe mankind وَٱلْجِنُّand the jinn عَلَىٰٓto أَن[that] يَأْتُوا۟bring بِمِثْلِthe like هَٰذَا(of) this ٱلْقُرْءَانِquran لَاnot يَأْتُونَthey (could) bring بِمِثْلِهِۦthe like of it وَلَوْeven if كَانَwere بَعْضُهُمْsome of them لِبَعْضٍto some others ظَهِيرًاassistants۝٨٨ Āyah 88

وَلَقَدْand verily صَرَّفْنَاwe have explained لِلنَّاسِto mankind فِىin هَٰذَاthis ٱلْقُرْءَانِquran مِنfrom كُلِّevery مَثَلٍexample فَأَبَىٰٓbut refused أَكْثَرُmost ٱلنَّاسِ(of) the mankind إِلَّاexcept كُفُورًاdisbelief۝٨٩ Āyah 89

وَقَالُوا۟and they say لَنnever نُّؤْمِنَwe will believe لَكَin you حَتَّىٰuntil تَفْجُرَyou cause to لَنَاfor us مِنَfrom ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth يَنۢبُوعًاa spring۝٩٠ Āyah 90

أَوْor تَكُونَyou have لَكَfor you جَنَّةٌa garden مِّنof نَّخِيلٍdate palms وَعِنَبٍand grapes فَتُفَجِّرَand cause to ٱلْأَنْهَٰرَthe rivers خِلَٰلَهَاwithin them تَفْجِيرًاabundantly۝٩١ Āyah 91

أَوْor تُسْقِطَyou cause toll ٱلسَّمَآءَthe sky كَمَاas زَعَمْتَyou have claimed عَلَيْنَاupon us كِسَفًا(in) pieces أَوْor تَأْتِىَyou bring بِٱللَّهِallah وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِand the angels قَبِيلًاbefore (us)۝٩٢ Āyah 92

أَوْor يَكُونَis لَكَfor you بَيْتٌa house مِّنof زُخْرُفٍornament أَوْor تَرْقَىٰyou ascend فِىinto ٱلسَّمَآءِthe sky وَلَنand never نُّؤْمِنَwe will believe لِرُقِيِّكَin your ascension حَتَّىٰuntil تُنَزِّلَyou bring down عَلَيْنَاto us كِتَٰبًاa book نَّقْرَؤُهُۥwe could read it قُلْsay سُبْحَانَglorified (is) رَبِّىmy lord هَلْwhat كُنتُam i إِلَّاbut بَشَرًاa human رَّسُولًاa messenger۝٩٣ Āyah 93
