الكهف

وَٱضْرِبْand present لَهُمto them مَّثَلَthe example ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ(of) the life ٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the world كَمَآءٍlike water أَنزَلْنَٰهُwhich we send down مِنَfrom ٱلسَّمَآءِthe sky فَٱخْتَلَطَthen mingles بِهِۦwith it نَبَاتُ(the) vegetation ٱلْأَرْضِ(of) the earth فَأَصْبَحَthen becomes هَشِيمًاdry stalks تَذْرُوهُit (is) scattered ٱلرِّيَٰحُ(by) the winds وَكَانَand allah ٱللَّهُand allah عَلَىٰover كُلِّevery شَىْءٍthing مُّقْتَدِرًا(is) all able۝٤٥ Āyah 45

ٱلْمَالُthe wealth وَٱلْبَنُونَand children زِينَةُ(are) adornment ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ(of) the life ٱلدُّنْيَا(of) the world وَٱلْبَٰقِيَٰتُbut the enduring ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتُgood deeds خَيْرٌ(are) better عِندَnear رَبِّكَyour lord ثَوَابًا(for) reward وَخَيْرٌand better أَمَلًا(for) hope۝٤٦ Āyah 46

وَيَوْمَand the day نُسَيِّرُwe will cause (to) move ٱلْجِبَالَthe mountains وَتَرَىand you will see ٱلْأَرْضَthe earth بَارِزَةً(as) a leveled plain وَحَشَرْنَٰهُمْand we will gather them فَلَمْand not نُغَادِرْwe will leave behind مِنْهُمْfrom them أَحَدًاanyone۝٤٧ Āyah 47

وَعُرِضُوا۟and they will be presented عَلَىٰbefore رَبِّكَyour lord صَفًّا(in) rows لَّقَدْcertainly جِئْتُمُونَاyou have come us كَمَاas خَلَقْنَٰكُمْwe created you أَوَّلَthe first مَرَّةٍۭtime بَلْnay زَعَمْتُمْyou claimed أَلَّنthat not نَّجْعَلَwe made لَكُمfor you مَّوْعِدًاan appointment۝٤٨ Āyah 48

وَوُضِعَand (will) be placed ٱلْكِتَٰبُthe book فَتَرَىand you will see ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَthe criminals مُشْفِقِينَfearful مِمَّاof what فِيهِ(is) in it وَيَقُولُونَand they will say يَٰوَيْلَتَنَاoh woe to us مَالِwhat (is) for هَٰذَاthis ٱلْكِتَٰبِ[the] book لَاnot يُغَادِرُleaves صَغِيرَةًa small وَلَاand not كَبِيرَةًa great إِلَّآexcept أَحْصَىٰهَاhas enumerated it وَوَجَدُوا۟and they will find مَاwhat عَمِلُوا۟they did حَاضِرًاpresented وَلَاand not يَظْلِمُdeals unjustly رَبُّكَyour lord أَحَدًا(with) anyone۝٤٩ Āyah 49
