النور

إِنَّindeed ٱلَّذِينَthose who جَآءُوbrought بِٱلْإِفْكِthe lie عُصْبَةٌ(are) a group مِّنكُمْamong you لَا(do) not تَحْسَبُوهُthink it شَرًّاbad لَّكُمfor you; بَلْnay هُوَit خَيْرٌ(is) good لَّكُمْfor you لِكُلِّfor every ٱمْرِئٍperson مِّنْهُمamong them مَّا(is) what ٱكْتَسَبَhe earned مِنَof ٱلْإِثْمِthe sin وَٱلَّذِىand the one who تَوَلَّىٰtook upon himself a greater share of it كِبْرَهُۥtook upon himself a greater share of it مِنْهُمْamong them لَهُۥfor him عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment عَظِيمٌgreat۝١١ Āyah 11

لَّوْلَآwhy not إِذْwhen سَمِعْتُمُوهُyou heard it ظَنَّthink ٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَthe believing men وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتُand the believing women بِأَنفُسِهِمْgood of themselves خَيْرًاgood of themselves وَقَالُوا۟and say هَٰذَآthis إِفْكٌ(is) a lie مُّبِينٌclear۝١٢ Āyah 12

لَّوْلَاwhy (did) not جَآءُوthey bring عَلَيْهِfor it بِأَرْبَعَةِfour شُهَدَآءَwitnesses فَإِذْthen when لَمْnot يَأْتُوا۟they brought بِٱلشُّهَدَآءِthe witnesses فَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَthen those عِندَnear allah ٱللَّهِnear allah هُمُthey ٱلْكَٰذِبُونَ(are) the liars۝١٣ Āyah 13

وَلَوْلَاand if not فَضْلُ(for the) grace ٱللَّهِ(of) allah عَلَيْكُمْupon you وَرَحْمَتُهُۥand his mercy فِىin ٱلدُّنْيَاthe world وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِand the hereafter لَمَسَّكُمْsurely would have touched you فِىin مَآwhat أَفَضْتُمْyou had rushed glibly فِيهِconcerning it عَذَابٌa punishment عَظِيمٌgreat۝١٤ Āyah 14

إِذْwhen تَلَقَّوْنَهُۥyou received it بِأَلْسِنَتِكُمْwith your tongues وَتَقُولُونَand you said بِأَفْوَاهِكُمwith your mouths مَّاwhat لَيْسَnot لَكُمfor you بِهِۦof it عِلْمٌany knowledge وَتَحْسَبُونَهُۥand you thought it هَيِّنًا(was) insignificant وَهُوَwhile it عِندَ(was) near allah ٱللَّهِ(was) near allah عَظِيمٌgreat۝١٥ Āyah 15

وَلَوْلَآand why not إِذْwhen سَمِعْتُمُوهُyou heard it قُلْتُمyou said مَّاnot يَكُونُit is لَنَآfor us أَنthat نَّتَكَلَّمَwe speak بِهَٰذَاof this سُبْحَٰنَكَglory be to you هَٰذَاthis بُهْتَٰنٌ(is) a slander عَظِيمٌgreat۝١٦ Āyah 16

يَعِظُكُمُallah warns you ٱللَّهُallah warns you أَنthat تَعُودُوا۟you return لِمِثْلِهِۦٓ(to the) like of it أَبَدًاever إِنif كُنتُمyou are مُّؤْمِنِينَbelievers۝١٧ Āyah 17

وَيُبَيِّنُand allah makes clear ٱللَّهُand allah makes clear لَكُمُto you ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِthe verses وَٱللَّهُand allah عَلِيمٌ(is) all knower حَكِيمٌall wise۝١٨ Āyah 18

إِنَّindeed ٱلَّذِينَthose who يُحِبُّونَlike أَنthat تَشِيعَ(should) spread ٱلْفَٰحِشَةُthe immorality فِىamong ٱلَّذِينَthose who ءَامَنُوا۟believe لَهُمْfor them عَذَابٌ(is) a punishment أَلِيمٌpainful فِىin ٱلدُّنْيَاthe world وَٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِand the hereafter وَٱللَّهُand allah يَعْلَمُknows وَأَنتُمْwhile you لَا(do) not تَعْلَمُونَknow۝١٩ Āyah 19

وَلَوْلَاand if not فَضْلُ(for the) grace of allah ٱللَّهِ(for the) grace of allah عَلَيْكُمْupon you وَرَحْمَتُهُۥand his mercy وَأَنَّand that ٱللَّهَallah رَءُوفٌ(is) full of kindness رَّحِيمٌmost merciful۝٢٠ Āyah 20
