النور

يَٰٓأَيُّهَاo you who believe ٱلَّذِينَo you who believe ءَامَنُوا۟o you who believe لِيَسْتَـْٔذِنكُمُlet ask your permission ٱلَّذِينَthose whom مَلَكَتْpossess أَيْمَٰنُكُمْyour right hands وَٱلَّذِينَand those who لَمْ(have) not يَبْلُغُوا۟reached ٱلْحُلُمَpuberty مِنكُمْamong you ثَلَٰثَ(at) three مَرَّٰتٍtimes مِّنbefore قَبْلِbefore صَلَوٰةِ(the) prayer ٱلْفَجْرِ(of) dawn وَحِينَand when تَضَعُونَyou put aside ثِيَابَكُمyour garments مِّنَat ٱلظَّهِيرَةِnoon وَمِنۢand after بَعْدِand after صَلَوٰةِ(the) prayer ٱلْعِشَآءِ(of) night ثَلَٰثُ(these) three عَوْرَٰتٍ(are) times of privacy لَّكُمْfor you لَيْسَnot عَلَيْكُمْon you وَلَاand not عَلَيْهِمْon them جُنَاحٌۢany blame بَعْدَهُنَّafter that طَوَّٰفُونَ(as) moving about عَلَيْكُمamong you بَعْضُكُمْsome of you عَلَىٰamong بَعْضٍothers كَذَٰلِكَthus يُبَيِّنُallah makes clear ٱللَّهُallah makes clear لَكُمُfor you ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِthe verses وَٱللَّهُand allah عَلِيمٌ(is) all knower حَكِيمٌall wise۝٥٨ Āyah 58

وَإِذَاand when بَلَغَreach ٱلْأَطْفَٰلُthe children مِنكُمُamong you ٱلْحُلُمَthe puberty فَلْيَسْتَـْٔذِنُوا۟then let them ask permission كَمَاas ٱسْتَـْٔذَنَasked permission ٱلَّذِينَthose who مِن(were) before them قَبْلِهِمْ(were) before them كَذَٰلِكَthus يُبَيِّنُallah makes clear ٱللَّهُallah makes clear لَكُمْfor you ءَايَٰتِهِۦhis verses وَٱللَّهُand allah عَلِيمٌ(is) all knower حَكِيمٌall wise۝٥٩ Āyah 59

وَٱلْقَوَٰعِدُand postmenopausal مِنَamong ٱلنِّسَآءِthe women ٱلَّٰتِىwho لَا(do) not يَرْجُونَhave desire نِكَاحًا(for) marriage فَلَيْسَthen not is عَلَيْهِنَّon them جُنَاحٌany blame أَنthat يَضَعْنَthey put aside ثِيَابَهُنَّtheir (outer) garments غَيْرَnot مُتَبَرِّجَٰتٍۭdisplaying بِزِينَةٍtheir adornment وَأَنand that يَسْتَعْفِفْنَthey modestly refrain خَيْرٌ(is) better لَّهُنَّfor them وَٱللَّهُand allah سَمِيعٌ(is) all hearer عَلِيمٌall knower۝٦٠ Āyah 60

لَّيْسَnot is عَلَىon ٱلْأَعْمَىٰthe blind حَرَجٌany blame وَلَاand not عَلَىon ٱلْأَعْرَجِthe lame حَرَجٌany blame وَلَاand not عَلَىon ٱلْمَرِيضِthe sick حَرَجٌany blame وَلَاand not عَلَىٰٓon أَنفُسِكُمْyourselves أَنthat تَأْكُلُوا۟you eat مِنۢfrom بُيُوتِكُمْyour houses أَوْor بُيُوتِhouses ءَابَآئِكُمْ(of) your fathers أَوْor بُيُوتِhouses أُمَّهَٰتِكُمْ(of) your mothers أَوْor بُيُوتِhouses إِخْوَٰنِكُمْ(of) your brothers أَوْor بُيُوتِhouses أَخَوَٰتِكُمْ(of) your sisters أَوْor بُيُوتِhouses أَعْمَٰمِكُمْ(of) your paternal uncles أَوْor بُيُوتِhouses عَمَّٰتِكُمْ(of) your paternal aunts أَوْor بُيُوتِhouses أَخْوَٰلِكُمْ(of) your maternal uncles أَوْor بُيُوتِhouses خَٰلَٰتِكُمْ(of) your maternal aunts أَوْor مَاwhat مَلَكْتُمyou possess مَّفَاتِحَهُۥٓits keys أَوْor صَدِيقِكُمْyour friend لَيْسَnot is عَلَيْكُمْon you جُنَاحٌany blame أَنthat تَأْكُلُوا۟you eat جَمِيعًاtogether أَوْor أَشْتَاتًاseparately فَإِذَاbut when دَخَلْتُمyou enter بُيُوتًاhouses فَسَلِّمُوا۟then greet عَلَىٰٓ[on] أَنفُسِكُمْyourselves تَحِيَّةًa greeting مِّنْfrom عِندِfrom ٱللَّهِallah مُبَٰرَكَةًblessed طَيِّبَةً(and) good كَذَٰلِكَthus يُبَيِّنُallah makes clear ٱللَّهُallah makes clear لَكُمُfor you ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِthe verses لَعَلَّكُمْso that you may تَعْقِلُونَunderstand۝٦١ Āyah 61
