الفرقان

تَبَارَكَblessed is he ٱلَّذِىٓwho إِنif شَآءَhe willed جَعَلَ(could have) made لَكَfor you خَيْرًاbetter مِّنthan ذَٰلِكَthat جَنَّٰتٍgardens تَجْرِىflow مِنfrom تَحْتِهَاunderneath it ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُthe rivers وَيَجْعَلand he (could) make لَّكَfor you قُصُورًۢاpalaces۝١٠ Āyah 10

بَلْnay كَذَّبُوا۟they deny بِٱلسَّاعَةِthe hour وَأَعْتَدْنَاand we have prepared لِمَنfor (those) who كَذَّبَdeny بِٱلسَّاعَةِthe hour سَعِيرًاa blazing fire۝١١ Āyah 11

إِذَاwhen رَأَتْهُمit sees them مِّنfrom مَّكَانٍۭa place بَعِيدٍfar سَمِعُوا۟they will hear لَهَاits تَغَيُّظًاraging وَزَفِيرًاand roaring۝١٢ Āyah 12

وَإِذَآand when أُلْقُوا۟they are thrown مِنْهَاthereof مَكَانًا(in) a place ضَيِّقًاnarrow مُّقَرَّنِينَbound in chains دَعَوْا۟they will call هُنَالِكَthere ثُبُورًا(for) destruction۝١٣ Āyah 13

لَّا(do) not تَدْعُوا۟call ٱلْيَوْمَthis day ثُبُورًا(for) destruction وَٰحِدًاone وَٱدْعُوا۟but call ثُبُورًا(for) destructions كَثِيرًاmany۝١٤ Āyah 14

قُلْsay أَذَٰلِكَis that خَيْرٌbetter أَمْor جَنَّةُgarden ٱلْخُلْدِ(of) eternity ٱلَّتِىwhich وُعِدَis promised ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ(to) the righteous كَانَتْit will be لَهُمْfor them جَزَآءًa reward وَمَصِيرًاand destination۝١٥ Āyah 15

لَّهُمْfor them فِيهَاtherein مَا(is) whatever يَشَآءُونَthey wish خَٰلِدِينَthey will abide forever كَانَit is عَلَىٰon رَبِّكَyour lord وَعْدًاa promise مَّسْـُٔولًاrequested۝١٦ Āyah 16

وَيَوْمَand (the) day يَحْشُرُهُمْhe will gather them وَمَاand what يَعْبُدُونَthey worship مِنbesides allah دُونِbesides allah ٱللَّهِbesides allah فَيَقُولُand he will say ءَأَنتُمْdid you أَضْلَلْتُمْ[you] mislead عِبَادِىmy slaves هَٰٓؤُلَآءِthese أَمْor هُمْthey ضَلُّوا۟went astray ٱلسَّبِيلَ(from) the way۝١٧ Āyah 17

قَالُوا۟they say سُبْحَٰنَكَglory be to مَاnot كَانَit was proper يَنۢبَغِىit was proper لَنَآfor us أَنthat نَّتَّخِذَwe take مِنbesides you دُونِكَbesides you مِنْany أَوْلِيَآءَprotectors وَلَٰكِنbut مَّتَّعْتَهُمْyou gave them وَءَابَآءَهُمْand their forefathers حَتَّىٰuntil نَسُوا۟they forgot ٱلذِّكْرَthe message وَكَانُوا۟and became قَوْمًۢاa people بُورًاruined۝١٨ Āyah 18

فَقَدْso verily كَذَّبُوكُمthey deny you بِمَاin what تَقُولُونَyou say فَمَاso not تَسْتَطِيعُونَyou are able صَرْفًا(to) avert وَلَاand not نَصْرًا(to) help وَمَنand whoever يَظْلِمdoes wrong مِّنكُمْamong you نُذِقْهُwe will make him عَذَابًاa punishment كَبِيرًاgreat۝١٩ Āyah 19

وَمَآand not أَرْسَلْنَاwe sent قَبْلَكَbefore you مِنَany ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَmessengers إِلَّآbut إِنَّهُمْindeed they لَيَأْكُلُونَ[surely] ate ٱلطَّعَامَfood وَيَمْشُونَand walked فِىin ٱلْأَسْوَاقِthe markets وَجَعَلْنَاand we have made بَعْضَكُمْsome of you لِبَعْضٍfor others فِتْنَةًa trial أَتَصْبِرُونَwill you have patience وَكَانَand is رَبُّكَyour lord بَصِيرًاall seer۝٢٠ Āyah 20
