الفرقان

أَلَمْdo you not تَرَsee إِلَىٰ[to] رَبِّكَyour lord كَيْفَhow مَدَّhe extends ٱلظِّلَّthe shadow وَلَوْand if شَآءَhe willed لَجَعَلَهُۥsurely he (could) have made it سَاكِنًاstationary ثُمَّthen جَعَلْنَاwe made ٱلشَّمْسَthe sun عَلَيْهِfor it دَلِيلًاan indication۝٤٥ Āyah 45

ثُمَّthen قَبَضْنَٰهُwe withdraw it إِلَيْنَاto us قَبْضًاa withdrawal يَسِيرًاgradual۝٤٦ Āyah 46

وَهُوَand he ٱلَّذِى(is) the one who جَعَلَmade لَكُمُfor you ٱلَّيْلَthe night لِبَاسًا(as) a covering وَٱلنَّوْمَand the sleep سُبَاتًاa rest وَجَعَلَand made ٱلنَّهَارَthe day نُشُورًاa resurrection۝٤٧ Āyah 47

وَهُوَand he ٱلَّذِىٓ(is) the one who أَرْسَلَsends ٱلرِّيَٰحَthe winds بُشْرًۢا(as) glad tidings بَيْنَbefore يَدَىْbefore رَحْمَتِهِۦhis mercy وَأَنزَلْنَاand we send down مِنَfrom ٱلسَّمَآءِthe sky مَآءًwater طَهُورًاpure۝٤٨ Āyah 48

لِّنُحْـِۧىَthat we may give life بِهِۦthereby بَلْدَةً(to) a land مَّيْتًاdead وَنُسْقِيَهُۥand we give drink مِمَّاthereof خَلَقْنَآ(to those) we created أَنْعَٰمًاcattle وَأَنَاسِىَّand men كَثِيرًاmany۝٤٩ Āyah 49

وَلَقَدْand verily صَرَّفْنَٰهُwe have distributed it بَيْنَهُمْamong them لِيَذَّكَّرُوا۟that they may remember فَأَبَىٰٓbut refuse أَكْثَرُmost ٱلنَّاسِ(of) the people إِلَّاexcept كُفُورًاdisbelief۝٥٠ Āyah 50

وَلَوْand if شِئْنَاwe willed لَبَعَثْنَاsurely we (would) have raised فِىin كُلِّevery قَرْيَةٍtown نَّذِيرًاa warner۝٥١ Āyah 51

فَلَاso (do) not تُطِعِobey ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَthe disbelievers وَجَٰهِدْهُمand strive (against) them بِهِۦwith it جِهَادًاa striving كَبِيرًاgreat۝٥٢ Āyah 52

وَهُوَand he ٱلَّذِى(is) the one who مَرَجَ(has) released ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِthe two seas هَٰذَا[this] (one) عَذْبٌpalatable فُرَاتٌand sweet وَهَٰذَاand [this] (one) مِلْحٌsalty أُجَاجٌ(and) bitter وَجَعَلَand he has made بَيْنَهُمَاbetween them بَرْزَخًاa barrier وَحِجْرًاand a partition مَّحْجُورًاforbidden۝٥٣ Āyah 53

وَهُوَand he ٱلَّذِى(is) the one who خَلَقَhas created مِنَfrom ٱلْمَآءِthe water بَشَرًاhuman being فَجَعَلَهُۥand has made (for) him نَسَبًاblood relationship وَصِهْرًاand marriage relationship وَكَانَand is رَبُّكَyour lord قَدِيرًاall powerful۝٥٤ Āyah 54

وَيَعْبُدُونَbut they worship مِنbesides allah دُونِbesides allah ٱللَّهِbesides allah مَاwhat لَاnot profits them يَنفَعُهُمْnot profits them وَلَاand not يَضُرُّهُمْharms them وَكَانَand is ٱلْكَافِرُthe disbeliever عَلَىٰagainst رَبِّهِۦhis lord ظَهِيرًاa helper۝٥٥ Āyah 55

وَمَآand not أَرْسَلْنَٰكَwe sent you إِلَّاexcept مُبَشِّرًا(as) a bearer of glad tidings وَنَذِيرًاand a warner۝٥٦ Āyah 56

قُلْsay مَآnot أَسْـَٔلُكُمْi ask (of) you عَلَيْهِfor it مِنْany أَجْرٍpayment إِلَّاexcept مَن(that) whoever wills شَآءَ(that) whoever wills أَنto يَتَّخِذَtake إِلَىٰto رَبِّهِۦhis lord سَبِيلًاa way۝٥٧ Āyah 57

وَتَوَكَّلْand put your trust عَلَىin ٱلْحَىِّthe ever living ٱلَّذِىthe one who لَاdoes not die يَمُوتُdoes not die وَسَبِّحْand glorify بِحَمْدِهِۦwith his praise وَكَفَىٰand sufficient is بِهِۦhe بِذُنُوبِregarding the sins عِبَادِهِۦ(of) his slaves خَبِيرًاall aware۝٥٨ Āyah 58

ٱلَّذِىthe one who خَلَقَcreated ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَand the earth وَمَاand whatever بَيْنَهُمَا(is) between them فِىin سِتَّةِsix أَيَّامٍperiods ثُمَّthen ٱسْتَوَىٰhe established himself عَلَىover ٱلْعَرْشِthe throne ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُthe most gracious فَسْـَٔلْso ask بِهِۦhim خَبِيرًا(as he is) all aware۝٥٩ Āyah 59

وَإِذَاand when قِيلَit is said لَهُمُto them ٱسْجُدُوا۟prostrate لِلرَّحْمَٰنِto the most gracious قَالُوا۟they say وَمَاand what ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ(is) the most gracious أَنَسْجُدُshould we prostrate لِمَاto what تَأْمُرُنَاyou order us وَزَادَهُمْand it increases them نُفُورًا(in) aversion۝٦٠ Āyah 60
