غافر

أَوَلَمْdo not يَسِيرُوا۟they travel فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth فَيَنظُرُوا۟and see كَيْفَhow كَانَwas عَٰقِبَةُ(the) end ٱلَّذِينَ(of) those who كَانُوا۟were مِنbefore them قَبْلِهِمْbefore them كَانُوا۟they were هُمْ[they] أَشَدَّsuperior مِنْهُمْto them قُوَّةً(in) strength وَءَاثَارًاand (in) impressions فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe land فَأَخَذَهُمُbut allah seized them ٱللَّهُbut allah seized them بِذُنُوبِهِمْfor their sins وَمَاand not كَانَwas لَهُمfor them مِّنَagainst ٱللَّهِallah مِنany وَاقٍprotector۝٢١ Āyah 21

ذَٰلِكَthat بِأَنَّهُمْ(was) because [they] كَانَتused to come to them تَّأْتِيهِمْused to come to them رُسُلُهُمtheir messengers بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِwith clear proofs فَكَفَرُوا۟but they disbelieved فَأَخَذَهُمُso allah seized them ٱللَّهُso allah seized them إِنَّهُۥindeed he قَوِىٌّ(is) all strong شَدِيدُsevere ٱلْعِقَابِ(in) punishment۝٢٢ Āyah 22

وَلَقَدْand certainly أَرْسَلْنَاwe sent مُوسَىٰmusa بِـَٔايَٰتِنَاwith our signs وَسُلْطَٰنٍand an authority مُّبِينٍclear۝٢٣ Āyah 23

إِلَىٰto فِرْعَوْنَfiraun وَهَٰمَٰنَhaman وَقَٰرُونَand qarun فَقَالُوا۟but they said سَٰحِرٌa magician كَذَّابٌa liar۝٢٤ Āyah 24

فَلَمَّاthen when جَآءَهُمhe brought to them بِٱلْحَقِّthe truth مِنْfrom عِندِنَاus قَالُوا۟they said ٱقْتُلُوٓا۟kill أَبْنَآءَ(the) sons ٱلَّذِينَ(of) those who ءَامَنُوا۟believe مَعَهُۥwith him وَٱسْتَحْيُوا۟and let live نِسَآءَهُمْtheir women وَمَاand not كَيْدُ(is the) plot ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ(of) the disbelievers إِلَّاbut فِىin ضَلَٰلٍerror۝٢٥ Āyah 25

وَقَالَand said فِرْعَوْنُfiraun ذَرُونِىٓleave me أَقْتُلْ(so that) i kill مُوسَىٰmusa وَلْيَدْعُand let him call رَبَّهُۥٓhis lord إِنِّىٓindeed i أَخَافُ[i] fear أَنthat يُبَدِّلَhe will change دِينَكُمْyour religion أَوْor أَنthat يُظْهِرَhe may cause to appear فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe land ٱلْفَسَادَthe corruption۝٢٦ Āyah 26

وَقَالَand said مُوسَىٰٓmusa إِنِّىindeed i عُذْتُ[i] seek refuge بِرَبِّىin my lord وَرَبِّكُمand your lord مِّنfrom كُلِّevery مُتَكَبِّرٍarrogant one لَّاnot يُؤْمِنُwho believes بِيَوْمِ(in the) day ٱلْحِسَابِ(of) the account۝٢٧ Āyah 27
