فصلت

وَيَوْمَand (the) day يُحْشَرُwill be gathered أَعْدَآءُ(the) enemies ٱللَّهِ(of) allah إِلَىto ٱلنَّارِthe fire فَهُمْthen they يُوزَعُونَwill be assembled in rows۝١٩ Āyah 19

حَتَّىٰٓuntil إِذَاwhen مَاwhen جَآءُوهَاthey come to it شَهِدَ(will) testify عَلَيْهِمْagainst them سَمْعُهُمْtheir hearing وَأَبْصَٰرُهُمْand their sight وَجُلُودُهُمand their skins بِمَا(as) to what كَانُوا۟they used to يَعْمَلُونَdo۝٢٠ Āyah 20

وَقَالُوا۟and they will say لِجُلُودِهِمْto their skins لِمَwhy do شَهِدتُّمْyou testify عَلَيْنَاagainst us قَالُوٓا۟they will say أَنطَقَنَاallah made us speak ٱللَّهُallah made us speak ٱلَّذِىٓthe one who أَنطَقَmakes speak كُلَّevery شَىْءٍthing; وَهُوَand he خَلَقَكُمْcreated you أَوَّلَ(the) first مَرَّةٍtime وَإِلَيْهِand to him تُرْجَعُونَyou will be returned۝٢١ Āyah 21

وَمَاand not كُنتُمْyou were تَسْتَتِرُونَcovering yourselves أَنlest يَشْهَدَtestify عَلَيْكُمْagainst you سَمْعُكُمْyour hearing وَلَآand not أَبْصَٰرُكُمْyour sight وَلَاand not جُلُودُكُمْyour skins وَلَٰكِنbut ظَنَنتُمْyou assumed أَنَّthat ٱللَّهَallah لَا(does) not يَعْلَمُknow كَثِيرًاmuch مِّمَّاof what تَعْمَلُونَyou do۝٢٢ Āyah 22

وَذَٰلِكُمْand that ظَنُّكُمُ(was) your assumption ٱلَّذِىwhich ظَنَنتُمyou assumed بِرَبِّكُمْabout your lord أَرْدَىٰكُمْit has ruined you فَأَصْبَحْتُمand you have مِّنَof ٱلْخَٰسِرِينَthe losers۝٢٣ Āyah 23

فَإِنthen if يَصْبِرُوا۟they endure فَٱلنَّارُthe fire مَثْوًى(is) an abode لَّهُمْfor them; وَإِنand if يَسْتَعْتِبُوا۟they ask for favor فَمَاthen not هُمthey مِّنَ(will be) of ٱلْمُعْتَبِينَthose who receive favor۝٢٤ Āyah 24

وَقَيَّضْنَاand we have destined لَهُمْfor them قُرَنَآءَcompanions فَزَيَّنُوا۟(who) made fair seeming لَهُمto them مَّاwhat بَيْنَ(was) before them أَيْدِيهِمْ(was) before them وَمَاand what خَلْفَهُمْ(was) behind them وَحَقَّand (is) justified عَلَيْهِمُagainst them ٱلْقَوْلُthe word فِىٓamong أُمَمٍnations قَدْ(that have) passed away خَلَتْ(that have) passed away مِنbefore them قَبْلِهِمbefore them مِّنَof ٱلْجِنِّthe jinn وَٱلْإِنسِand the men إِنَّهُمْindeed they كَانُوا۟were خَٰسِرِينَlosers۝٢٥ Āyah 25
