الشورى

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

حمٓha meem۝١ Āyah 1

عٓسٓقٓayn seen qaaf۝٢ Āyah 2

كَذَٰلِكَthus يُوحِىٓreveals إِلَيْكَto you وَإِلَىand to ٱلَّذِينَthose مِنbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you ٱللَّهُallah ٱلْعَزِيزُthe all mighty ٱلْحَكِيمُthe all wise۝٣ Āyah 3

لَهُۥto him مَا(belong) whatever فِى(is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand whatever فِى(is) in ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth وَهُوَand he ٱلْعَلِىُّ(is) the most high ٱلْعَظِيمُthe most great۝٤ Āyah 4

تَكَادُalmost ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُthe heavens يَتَفَطَّرْنَbreak up مِنfrom فَوْقِهِنَّabove them وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُand the angels يُسَبِّحُونَglorify بِحَمْدِ(the) praise رَبِّهِمْ(of) their lord وَيَسْتَغْفِرُونَand ask for forgiveness لِمَنfor those فِىon ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth أَلَآunquestionably إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah هُوَhe ٱلْغَفُورُ(is) the oft forgiving ٱلرَّحِيمُthe most merciful۝٥ Āyah 5

وَٱلَّذِينَand those who ٱتَّخَذُوا۟take مِنbesides دُونِهِۦٓbesides أَوْلِيَآءَprotectors ٱللَّهُallah حَفِيظٌ(is) a guardian عَلَيْهِمْover them وَمَآand not أَنتَyou عَلَيْهِم(are) over them بِوَكِيلٍa manager۝٦ Āyah 6

وَكَذَٰلِكَand thus أَوْحَيْنَآwe have revealed إِلَيْكَto you قُرْءَانًاa quran عَرَبِيًّا(in) arabic لِّتُنذِرَthat you may warn أُمَّ(the) mother ٱلْقُرَىٰ(of) the towns وَمَنْand whoever حَوْلَهَا(is) around it وَتُنذِرَand warn يَوْمَ(of the) day ٱلْجَمْعِ(of) assembly لَا(there is) no رَيْبَdoubt فِيهِin it فَرِيقٌa party فِى(will be) in ٱلْجَنَّةِparadise وَفَرِيقٌand a party فِىin ٱلسَّعِيرِthe blazing fire۝٧ Āyah 7

وَلَوْand if شَآءَallah willed ٱللَّهُallah willed لَجَعَلَهُمْhe could have made them أُمَّةًa community وَٰحِدَةًone وَلَٰكِنbut يُدْخِلُhe admits مَنwhom يَشَآءُhe wills فِىin (to) رَحْمَتِهِۦhis mercy وَٱلظَّٰلِمُونَand the wrongdoers مَاnot لَهُمfor them مِّنany وَلِىٍّprotector وَلَاand not نَصِيرٍany helper۝٨ Āyah 8

أَمِor ٱتَّخَذُوا۟have they taken مِنbesides him دُونِهِۦٓbesides him أَوْلِيَآءَprotectors فَٱللَّهُbut allah هُوَhe ٱلْوَلِىُّ(is) the protector وَهُوَand he يُحْىِgives life ٱلْمَوْتَىٰ(to) the dead وَهُوَand he عَلَىٰ(is) on كُلِّevery شَىْءٍthing قَدِيرٌall powerful۝٩ Āyah 9
