الزخرف

وَمَنand whoever يَعْشُturns away عَنfrom ذِكْرِ(the) remembrance ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ(of) the most gracious نُقَيِّضْwe appoint لَهُۥfor him شَيْطَٰنًاa devil فَهُوَthen he لَهُۥ(is) to him قَرِينٌa companion۝٣٦ Āyah 36

وَإِنَّهُمْand indeed they لَيَصُدُّونَهُمْsurely turn them عَنِfrom ٱلسَّبِيلِthe path وَيَحْسَبُونَand they think أَنَّهُمthat they مُّهْتَدُونَ(are) guided۝٣٧ Āyah 37

حَتَّىٰٓuntil إِذَاwhen جَآءَنَاhe comes to us قَالَhe says يَٰلَيْتَo would that بَيْنِىbetween me وَبَيْنَكَand between you بُعْدَ(were the) distance ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ(of) the east and the west فَبِئْسَhow wretched is ٱلْقَرِينُthe companion۝٣٨ Āyah 38

وَلَنand never يَنفَعَكُمُwill benefit you ٱلْيَوْمَthe day إِذwhen ظَّلَمْتُمْyou have wronged أَنَّكُمْthat you فِى(will be) in ٱلْعَذَابِthe punishment مُشْتَرِكُونَsharing۝٣٩ Āyah 39

أَفَأَنتَthen can you تُسْمِعُcause to hear ٱلصُّمَّthe deaf أَوْor تَهْدِىguide ٱلْعُمْىَthe blind وَمَنand (one) who كَانَis فِىin ضَلَٰلٍan error مُّبِينٍclear۝٤٠ Āyah 40

فَإِمَّاand whether نَذْهَبَنَّwe take you away بِكَwe take you away فَإِنَّاthen indeed we مِنْهُمfrom them مُّنتَقِمُونَ(will) take retribution۝٤١ Āyah 41

أَوْor نُرِيَنَّكَwe show you ٱلَّذِىthat which وَعَدْنَٰهُمْwe have promised them فَإِنَّاthen indeed we عَلَيْهِمover them مُّقْتَدِرُونَhave full power۝٤٢ Āyah 42

فَٱسْتَمْسِكْso hold fast بِٱلَّذِىٓto that which أُوحِىَis revealed إِلَيْكَto you إِنَّكَindeed you عَلَىٰ(are) on صِرَٰطٍa path مُّسْتَقِيمٍstraight۝٤٣ Āyah 43

وَإِنَّهُۥand indeed it لَذِكْرٌ(is) surely a reminder لَّكَfor you وَلِقَوْمِكَand your people وَسَوْفَand soon تُسْـَٔلُونَyou will be questioned۝٤٤ Āyah 44

وَسْـَٔلْand ask مَنْ(those) whom أَرْسَلْنَاwe sent مِنbefore you قَبْلِكَbefore you مِنof رُّسُلِنَآour messengers; أَجَعَلْنَاdid we make مِنbesides دُونِbesides ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ءَالِهَةًgods يُعْبَدُونَto be worshipped۝٤٥ Āyah 45
