الزخرف

وَلَمَّاand when ضُرِبَis presented ٱبْنُ(the) son مَرْيَمَ(of) maryam مَثَلًا(as) an example إِذَاbehold قَوْمُكَyour people مِنْهُabout it يَصِدُّونَlaughed aloud۝٥٧ Āyah 57

وَقَالُوٓا۟and they said ءَأَٰلِهَتُنَاare our gods خَيْرٌbetter أَمْor هُوَhe مَاnot ضَرَبُوهُthey present it لَكَto you إِلَّاexcept جَدَلًۢا(for) argument بَلْnay هُمْthey قَوْمٌ(are) a people خَصِمُونَargumentative۝٥٨ Āyah 58

إِنْnot هُوَhe إِلَّا(was) except عَبْدٌa slave أَنْعَمْنَاwe bestowed our favor عَلَيْهِon him وَجَعَلْنَٰهُand we made him مَثَلًاan example لِّبَنِىٓfor (the) children of israel إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَfor (the) children of israel۝٥٩ Āyah 59

وَلَوْand if نَشَآءُwe willed لَجَعَلْنَاsurely we (could have) made مِنكُمamong you مَّلَٰٓئِكَةًangels فِىin ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth يَخْلُفُونَsucceeding۝٦٠ Āyah 60

وَإِنَّهُۥand indeed it لَعِلْمٌsurely (is) a knowledge لِّلسَّاعَةِof the hour فَلَاso (do) not تَمْتَرُنَّ(be) doubtful بِهَاabout it وَٱتَّبِعُونِand follow me هَٰذَاthis صِرَٰطٌ(is the) path مُّسْتَقِيمٌstraight۝٦١ Āyah 61

وَلَاand (let) not يَصُدَّنَّكُمُavert you ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُthe shaitaan إِنَّهُۥindeed he لَكُمْ(is) for you عَدُوٌّan enemy مُّبِينٌclear۝٦٢ Āyah 62

وَلَمَّاand when جَآءَcame عِيسَىٰisa بِٱلْبَيِّنَٰتِwith clear proofs قَالَhe said قَدْverily جِئْتُكُمi have come to you بِٱلْحِكْمَةِwith wisdom وَلِأُبَيِّنَand that i make clear لَكُمto you بَعْضَsome ٱلَّذِى(of) that which تَخْتَلِفُونَyou differ فِيهِin it فَٱتَّقُوا۟so fear ٱللَّهَallah وَأَطِيعُونِand obey me۝٦٣ Āyah 63

إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah هُوَhe رَبِّى(is) my lord وَرَبُّكُمْand your lord فَٱعْبُدُوهُso worship him هَٰذَاthis صِرَٰطٌ(is) a path مُّسْتَقِيمٌstraight۝٦٤ Āyah 64

فَٱخْتَلَفَbut differed ٱلْأَحْزَابُthe factions مِنۢfrom بَيْنِهِمْamong them فَوَيْلٌso woe لِّلَّذِينَto those who ظَلَمُوا۟wronged مِنْfrom عَذَابِ(the) punishment يَوْمٍ(of the) day أَلِيمٍpainful۝٦٥ Āyah 65

هَلْare يَنظُرُونَthey waiting إِلَّاexcept ٱلسَّاعَةَ(for) the hour أَنthat تَأْتِيَهُمit should come on them بَغْتَةًsuddenly وَهُمْwhile they لَا(do) not يَشْعُرُونَperceive۝٦٦ Āyah 66

ٱلْأَخِلَّآءُfriends يَوْمَئِذٍۭthat day بَعْضُهُمْsome of them لِبَعْضٍto others عَدُوٌّ(will be) enemies إِلَّاexcept ٱلْمُتَّقِينَthe righteous۝٦٧ Āyah 67
