الدخان

وَلَقَدْand certainly نَجَّيْنَاwe saved بَنِىٓ(the) children of israel إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ(the) children of israel مِنَfrom ٱلْعَذَابِthe punishment ٱلْمُهِينِthe humiliating۝٣٠ Āyah 30

مِنfrom فِرْعَوْنَfiraun إِنَّهُۥindeed he كَانَwas عَالِيًاarrogant مِّنَamong ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَthe transgressors۝٣١ Āyah 31

وَلَقَدِand certainly ٱخْتَرْنَٰهُمْwe chose them عَلَىٰby عِلْمٍknowledge عَلَىover ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَthe worlds۝٣٢ Āyah 32

وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمand we gave them مِّنَof ٱلْـَٔايَٰتِthe signs مَاthat فِيهِin it بَلَٰٓؤٌا۟(was) a trial مُّبِينٌclear۝٣٣ Āyah 33

إِنَّindeed هَٰٓؤُلَآءِthese لَيَقُولُونَsurely they say۝٣٤ Āyah 34

إِنْnot هِىَit إِلَّا(is) but مَوْتَتُنَاour death ٱلْأُولَىٰthe first وَمَاand not نَحْنُwe بِمُنشَرِينَ(will be) raised again۝٣٥ Āyah 35

فَأْتُوا۟then bring بِـَٔابَآئِنَآour forefathers إِنif كُنتُمْyou are صَٰدِقِينَtruthful۝٣٦ Āyah 36

أَهُمْare they خَيْرٌbetter أَمْor قَوْمُ(the) people تُبَّعٍ(of) tubba وَٱلَّذِينَand those مِنbefore them قَبْلِهِمْbefore them أَهْلَكْنَٰهُمْwe destroyed them إِنَّهُمْindeed they كَانُوا۟were مُجْرِمِينَcriminals۝٣٧ Āyah 37

وَمَاand not خَلَقْنَاwe created ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَٱلْأَرْضَand the earth وَمَاand whatever بَيْنَهُمَا(is) between them لَٰعِبِينَ(in) play۝٣٨ Āyah 38

مَاnot خَلَقْنَٰهُمَآwe created both of them إِلَّاbut بِٱلْحَقِّin [the] truth وَلَٰكِنَّbut أَكْثَرَهُمْmost of them لَا(do) not يَعْلَمُونَknow۝٣٩ Āyah 39

إِنَّindeed يَوْمَ(the) day of judgment ٱلْفَصْلِ(the) day of judgment مِيقَٰتُهُمْ(is) an appointed term for them أَجْمَعِينَall۝٤٠ Āyah 40

يَوْمَ(the) day لَاnot يُغْنِىwill avail مَوْلًىa relation عَنfor مَّوْلًىa relation شَيْـًٔاanything وَلَاand not هُمْthey يُنصَرُونَwill be helped۝٤١ Āyah 41

إِلَّاexcept مَن(on) whom رَّحِمَallah has mercy ٱللَّهُallah has mercy إِنَّهُۥindeed he هُوَ[he] ٱلْعَزِيزُ(is) the all mighty ٱلرَّحِيمُthe most merciful۝٤٢ Āyah 42
