الجاثية

ٱللَّهُallah ٱلَّذِى(is) the one who سَخَّرَsubjected لَكُمُto you ٱلْبَحْرَthe sea لِتَجْرِىَthat may sail ٱلْفُلْكُthe ships فِيهِtherein بِأَمْرِهِۦby his command وَلِتَبْتَغُوا۟and that you may seek مِنof فَضْلِهِۦhis bounty وَلَعَلَّكُمْand that you may تَشْكُرُونَgive thanks۝١٢ Āyah 12

وَسَخَّرَand he has subjected لَكُمto you مَّاwhatever فِى(is) in ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِthe heavens وَمَاand whatever فِى(is) in ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth جَمِيعًاall مِّنْهُfrom him إِنَّindeed فِىin ذَٰلِكَthat لَـَٔايَٰتٍsurely are signs لِّقَوْمٍfor a people يَتَفَكَّرُونَwho give thought۝١٣ Āyah 13

قُلsay لِّلَّذِينَto those who ءَامَنُوا۟believe يَغْفِرُوا۟(to) forgive لِلَّذِينَthose who لَا(do) not يَرْجُونَhope أَيَّامَ(for the) days ٱللَّهِ(of) allah; لِيَجْزِىَthat he may recompense قَوْمًۢاa people بِمَاfor what كَانُوا۟they used to يَكْسِبُونَearn۝١٤ Āyah 14

مَنْwhoever عَمِلَdoes صَٰلِحًاa righteous deed فَلِنَفْسِهِۦthen it is for his soul وَمَنْand whoever أَسَآءَdoes evil فَعَلَيْهَاthen it (is) against it ثُمَّthen إِلَىٰto رَبِّكُمْyour lord تُرْجَعُونَyou will be returned۝١٥ Āyah 15

وَلَقَدْand certainly ءَاتَيْنَاwe gave بَنِىٓ(the) children of israel إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ(the) children of israel ٱلْكِتَٰبَthe book وَٱلْحُكْمَand the wisdom وَٱلنُّبُوَّةَand the prophethood وَرَزَقْنَٰهُمand we provided them مِّنَof ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتِthe good things وَفَضَّلْنَٰهُمْand we preferred them عَلَىover ٱلْعَٰلَمِينَthe worlds۝١٦ Āyah 16

وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُمand we gave them بَيِّنَٰتٍclear proofs مِّنَof ٱلْأَمْرِthe matter فَمَاand not ٱخْتَلَفُوٓا۟they differed إِلَّاexcept مِنۢafter بَعْدِafter مَا[what] جَآءَهُمُcame to them ٱلْعِلْمُthe knowledge بَغْيًۢا(out of) envy بَيْنَهُمْbetween themselves إِنَّindeed رَبَّكَyour lord يَقْضِىwill judge بَيْنَهُمْbetween them يَوْمَ(on the) day ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ(of) the resurrection فِيمَاabout what كَانُوا۟they used to فِيهِtherein يَخْتَلِفُونَdiffer۝١٧ Āyah 17

ثُمَّthen جَعَلْنَٰكَwe put you عَلَىٰon شَرِيعَةٍan ordained way مِّنَof ٱلْأَمْرِthe matter; فَٱتَّبِعْهَاso follow it وَلَاand (do) not تَتَّبِعْfollow أَهْوَآءَ(the) desires ٱلَّذِينَ(of) those who لَا(do) not يَعْلَمُونَknow۝١٨ Āyah 18

إِنَّهُمْindeed they لَنnever يُغْنُوا۟will avail عَنكَyou مِنَagainst ٱللَّهِallah شَيْـًٔا(in) anything وَإِنَّand indeed ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَthe wrongdoers بَعْضُهُمْsome of them أَوْلِيَآءُ(are) allies بَعْضٍ(of) others وَٱللَّهُand allah وَلِىُّ(is the) protector ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ(of) the righteous۝١٩ Āyah 19

هَٰذَاthis بَصَٰٓئِرُ(is) enlightenment لِلنَّاسِfor mankind وَهُدًىand guidance وَرَحْمَةٌand mercy لِّقَوْمٍfor a people يُوقِنُونَwho are certain۝٢٠ Āyah 20

أَمْdo حَسِبَthink ٱلَّذِينَthose who ٱجْتَرَحُوا۟commit ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِevil deeds أَنthat نَّجْعَلَهُمْwe will make them كَٱلَّذِينَlike those who ءَامَنُوا۟believed وَعَمِلُوا۟and did ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِrighteous deeds سَوَآءًequal مَّحْيَاهُمْ(in) their life وَمَمَاتُهُمْand their death سَآءَevil is مَاwhat يَحْكُمُونَthey judge۝٢١ Āyah 21
