الفتح

سَيَقُولُwill say لَكَto you ٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَthose who remained behind مِنَof ٱلْأَعْرَابِthe bedouins شَغَلَتْنَآkept us busy أَمْوَٰلُنَاour properties وَأَهْلُونَاand our families فَٱسْتَغْفِرْso ask forgiveness لَنَاfor us يَقُولُونَthey say بِأَلْسِنَتِهِمwith their tongues مَّاwhat لَيْسَis not فِىin قُلُوبِهِمْtheir hearts قُلْsay فَمَنthen who يَمْلِكُhas power لَكُمfor you مِّنَagainst ٱللَّهِallah شَيْـًٔا(in) anything إِنْif أَرَادَhe intends بِكُمْfor you ضَرًّاharm أَوْor أَرَادَhe intends بِكُمْfor you نَفْعًۢاa benefit بَلْnay كَانَis ٱللَّهُallah بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُونَyou do خَبِيرًۢاall aware۝١١ Āyah 11

بَلْnay ظَنَنتُمْyou thought أَنthat لَّن(would) never يَنقَلِبَreturn ٱلرَّسُولُthe messenger وَٱلْمُؤْمِنُونَand the believers إِلَىٰٓto أَهْلِيهِمْtheir families أَبَدًاever وَزُيِّنَthat was made fair seeming ذَٰلِكَthat was made fair seeming فِىin قُلُوبِكُمْyour hearts وَظَنَنتُمْand you assumed ظَنَّan assumption ٱلسَّوْءِevil وَكُنتُمْand you became قَوْمًۢاa people بُورًاruined۝١٢ Āyah 12

وَمَنand whoever لَّمْ(has) not believed يُؤْمِنۢ(has) not believed بِٱللَّهِin allah وَرَسُولِهِۦand his messenger فَإِنَّآthen indeed we أَعْتَدْنَا[we] have prepared لِلْكَٰفِرِينَfor the disbelievers سَعِيرًاa blazing fire۝١٣ Āyah 13

وَلِلَّهِand for allah مُلْكُ(is the) kingdom ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ(of) the heavens وَٱلْأَرْضِand the earth يَغْفِرُhe forgives لِمَنwhom يَشَآءُhe wills وَيُعَذِّبُand punishes مَنwhom يَشَآءُhe wills وَكَانَand is ٱللَّهُallah غَفُورًاoft forgiving رَّحِيمًاmost merciful۝١٤ Āyah 14

سَيَقُولُwill say ٱلْمُخَلَّفُونَthose who remained behind إِذَاwhen ٱنطَلَقْتُمْyou set forth إِلَىٰtowards مَغَانِمَ(the) spoils of war لِتَأْخُذُوهَاto take it ذَرُونَاallow us نَتَّبِعْكُمْ(to) follow you يُرِيدُونَthey wish أَنto يُبَدِّلُوا۟change كَلَٰمَ(the) words ٱللَّهِ(of) allah قُلsay لَّنnever تَتَّبِعُونَاwill you follow كَذَٰلِكُمْthus قَالَallah said ٱللَّهُallah said مِنbefore قَبْلُbefore فَسَيَقُولُونَthen they will say بَلْnay تَحْسُدُونَنَاyou envy us بَلْnay كَانُوا۟they were لَاnot يَفْقَهُونَunderstanding إِلَّاexcept قَلِيلًاa little۝١٥ Āyah 15

قُلsay لِّلْمُخَلَّفِينَto those who remained مِنَof ٱلْأَعْرَابِthe bedouins سَتُدْعَوْنَyou will be called إِلَىٰto قَوْمٍa people أُو۟لِىpossessors of military might بَأْسٍpossessors of military might شَدِيدٍgreat; تُقَٰتِلُونَهُمْyou will fight them أَوْor يُسْلِمُونَthey will submit فَإِنthen if تُطِيعُوا۟you obey يُؤْتِكُمُallah will give you ٱللَّهُallah will give you أَجْرًاa reward حَسَنًاgood; وَإِنbut if تَتَوَلَّوْا۟you turn away كَمَاas تَوَلَّيْتُمyou turned away مِّنbefore قَبْلُbefore يُعَذِّبْكُمْhe will punish you عَذَابًا(with) a punishment أَلِيمًاpainful۝١٦ Āyah 16

لَّيْسَnot is عَلَىupon ٱلْأَعْمَىٰthe blind حَرَجٌany blame وَلَاand not عَلَىon ٱلْأَعْرَجِthe lame حَرَجٌany blame وَلَاand not عَلَىon ٱلْمَرِيضِthe sick حَرَجٌany blame وَمَنand whoever يُطِعِobeys ٱللَّهَallah وَرَسُولَهُۥand his messenger يُدْخِلْهُhe will admit him جَنَّٰتٍ(to) gardens تَجْرِىflow مِنfrom تَحْتِهَاunderneath them ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُthe rivers وَمَنbut whoever يَتَوَلَّturns away يُعَذِّبْهُhe will punish him عَذَابًا(with) a punishment أَلِيمًاpainful۝١٧ Āyah 17
