الفتح

لَّقَدْcertainly رَضِىَallah was pleased ٱللَّهُallah was pleased عَنِwith ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believers إِذْwhen يُبَايِعُونَكَthey pledged allegiance to you تَحْتَunder ٱلشَّجَرَةِthe tree فَعَلِمَand he knew مَاwhat فِى(was) in قُلُوبِهِمْtheir hearts فَأَنزَلَso he sent down ٱلسَّكِينَةَthe tranquility عَلَيْهِمْupon them وَأَثَٰبَهُمْand rewarded them فَتْحًا(with) a victory قَرِيبًاnear۝١٨ Āyah 18

وَمَغَانِمَand spoils of war كَثِيرَةًmuch يَأْخُذُونَهَاthat they will take; وَكَانَand is ٱللَّهُallah عَزِيزًاall mighty حَكِيمًاall wise۝١٩ Āyah 19

وَعَدَكُمُallah has promised you ٱللَّهُallah has promised you مَغَانِمَspoils of war كَثِيرَةًmuch تَأْخُذُونَهَاthat you will take it فَعَجَّلَand he has hastened لَكُمْfor you هَٰذِهِۦthis وَكَفَّand has withheld أَيْدِىَ(the) hands ٱلنَّاسِ(of) the people عَنكُمْfrom you وَلِتَكُونَthat it may be ءَايَةًa sign لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَfor the believers وَيَهْدِيَكُمْand he may guide you صِرَٰطًا(to the) path مُّسْتَقِيمًاstraight۝٢٠ Āyah 20

وَأُخْرَىٰand others لَمْnot تَقْدِرُوا۟you had power عَلَيْهَاover them قَدْsurely أَحَاطَallah encompassed ٱللَّهُallah encompassed بِهَاthem وَكَانَand is ٱللَّهُallah عَلَىٰover كُلِّall شَىْءٍthings قَدِيرًاall powerful۝٢١ Āyah 21

وَلَوْand if قَٰتَلَكُمُfight you ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieve لَوَلَّوُا۟surely they would turn ٱلْأَدْبَٰرَthe backs ثُمَّthen لَاnot يَجِدُونَthey would find وَلِيًّاany protector وَلَاand not نَصِيرًاany helper۝٢٢ Āyah 22

سُنَّةَ(the established) way ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلَّتِىwhich قَدْpassed away خَلَتْpassed away مِنbefore قَبْلُbefore وَلَنand never تَجِدَyou will find لِسُنَّةِin (the) way of allah ٱللَّهِin (the) way of allah تَبْدِيلًاany change۝٢٣ Āyah 23

وَهُوَand he ٱلَّذِى(is) the one who كَفَّwithheld أَيْدِيَهُمْtheir hands عَنكُمْfrom you وَأَيْدِيَكُمْand your hands عَنْهُمfrom them بِبَطْنِwithin مَكَّةَmakkah مِنۢafter بَعْدِafter أَنْthat أَظْفَرَكُمْhe gave you victory عَلَيْهِمْover them وَكَانَand is ٱللَّهُallah بِمَاof what تَعْمَلُونَyou do بَصِيرًاall seer۝٢٤ Āyah 24

هُمُthey ٱلَّذِينَ(are) those who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieved وَصَدُّوكُمْand hindered you عَنِfrom ٱلْمَسْجِدِal masjid al haraam ٱلْحَرَامِal masjid al haraam وَٱلْهَدْىَwhile the offering مَعْكُوفًا(was) prevented أَنfrom يَبْلُغَreaching مَحِلَّهُۥits place (of sacrifice) وَلَوْلَاand if not رِجَالٌ(for) men مُّؤْمِنُونَbelieving وَنِسَآءٌand women مُّؤْمِنَٰتٌbelieving لَّمْnot تَعْلَمُوهُمْyou knew them أَنthat تَطَـُٔوهُمْyou may trample them فَتُصِيبَكُمand would befall you مِّنْهُمfrom them مَّعَرَّةٌۢany harm بِغَيْرِwithout عِلْمٍknowledge لِّيُدْخِلَthat allah may admit ٱللَّهُthat allah may admit فِىto رَحْمَتِهِۦhis mercy مَنwhom يَشَآءُhe wills لَوْif تَزَيَّلُوا۟they had been apart لَعَذَّبْنَاsurely we would have punished ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieved مِنْهُمْamong them عَذَابًا(with) a punishment أَلِيمًاpainful۝٢٥ Āyah 25

إِذْwhen جَعَلَhad put ٱلَّذِينَthose who كَفَرُوا۟disbelieved فِىin قُلُوبِهِمُtheir hearts ٱلْحَمِيَّةَdisdain حَمِيَّةَ(the) disdain ٱلْجَٰهِلِيَّةِ(of) the time of ignorance فَأَنزَلَthen allah sent down ٱللَّهُthen allah sent down سَكِينَتَهُۥhis tranquility عَلَىٰupon رَسُولِهِۦhis messenger وَعَلَىand upon ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَthe believers وَأَلْزَمَهُمْand made them adhere كَلِمَةَ(to the) word ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ(of) righteousness وَكَانُوٓا۟and they were أَحَقَّmore deserving بِهَاof it وَأَهْلَهَاand worthy of it وَكَانَand is ٱللَّهُallah بِكُلِّof every شَىْءٍthing عَلِيمًاall knower۝٢٦ Āyah 26
