الطلاق

بِسْمِin (the) name ٱللَّهِ(of) allah ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِthe most gracious ٱلرَّحِيمِthe most merciful

يَٰٓأَيُّهَاo prophet ٱلنَّبِىُّo prophet إِذَاwhen طَلَّقْتُمُyou divorce ٱلنِّسَآءَ[the] women فَطَلِّقُوهُنَّthen divorce them لِعِدَّتِهِنَّfor their waiting period وَأَحْصُوا۟and keep count ٱلْعِدَّةَ(of) the waiting period وَٱتَّقُوا۟and fear ٱللَّهَallah رَبَّكُمْyour lord لَا(do) not تُخْرِجُوهُنَّexpel them مِنۢfrom بُيُوتِهِنَّtheir houses وَلَاand not يَخْرُجْنَthey should leave إِلَّآexcept أَنthat يَأْتِينَthey commit بِفَٰحِشَةٍan immorality مُّبَيِّنَةٍclear وَتِلْكَand these حُدُودُ(are the) limits ٱللَّهِ(of) allah وَمَنand whoever يَتَعَدَّtransgresses حُدُودَ(the) limits ٱللَّهِ(of) allah فَقَدْthen certainly ظَلَمَhe has wronged نَفْسَهُۥhimself لَاnot تَدْرِىyou know; لَعَلَّperhaps ٱللَّهَallah يُحْدِثُwill bring about بَعْدَafter ذَٰلِكَthat أَمْرًاa matter۝١ Āyah 1

فَإِذَاthen when بَلَغْنَthey have reached أَجَلَهُنَّtheir term فَأَمْسِكُوهُنَّthen retain them بِمَعْرُوفٍwith kindness أَوْor فَارِقُوهُنَّpart with them بِمَعْرُوفٍwith kindness وَأَشْهِدُوا۟and take witness ذَوَىْtwo men عَدْلٍjust مِّنكُمْamong you وَأَقِيمُوا۟and establish ٱلشَّهَٰدَةَthe testimony لِلَّهِfor allah ذَٰلِكُمْthat يُوعَظُis instructed بِهِۦwith it مَنwhoever كَانَ[is] يُؤْمِنُbelieves بِٱللَّهِin allah وَٱلْيَوْمِand the day ٱلْـَٔاخِرِthe last وَمَنand whoever يَتَّقِfears allah ٱللَّهَfears allah يَجْعَلhe will make لَّهُۥfor him مَخْرَجًاa way out۝٢ Āyah 2

وَيَرْزُقْهُand he will provide for him مِنْfrom حَيْثُwhere لَاnot يَحْتَسِبُhe thinks وَمَنand whoever يَتَوَكَّلْputs his عَلَىupon ٱللَّهِallah فَهُوَthen he حَسْبُهُۥٓ(is) sufficient for him إِنَّindeed ٱللَّهَallah بَٰلِغُ(will) accomplish أَمْرِهِۦhis purpose قَدْindeed جَعَلَallah has set ٱللَّهُallah has set لِكُلِّfor every شَىْءٍthing قَدْرًاa measure۝٣ Āyah 3

وَٱلَّٰٓـِٔىand those who يَئِسْنَhave despaired مِنَof ٱلْمَحِيضِthe menstruation مِنamong نِّسَآئِكُمْyour women إِنِif ٱرْتَبْتُمْyou doubt فَعِدَّتُهُنَّthen their waiting period ثَلَٰثَةُ(is) three أَشْهُرٍmonths وَٱلَّٰٓـِٔىand the ones who لَمْnot يَحِضْنَ[they] menstruated وَأُو۟لَٰتُand those who (are) pregnant ٱلْأَحْمَالِand those who (are) pregnant أَجَلُهُنَّtheir term أَنuntil يَضَعْنَthey deliver حَمْلَهُنَّtheir burdens وَمَنand whoever يَتَّقِfears ٱللَّهَallah يَجْعَلhe will make لَّهُۥfor him مِنْof أَمْرِهِۦhis affair يُسْرًاease۝٤ Āyah 4

ذَٰلِكَthat أَمْرُ(is the) command of allah ٱللَّهِ(is the) command of allah أَنزَلَهُۥٓwhich he has sent down إِلَيْكُمْto you; وَمَنand whoever يَتَّقِfears allah ٱللَّهَfears allah يُكَفِّرْhe will remove عَنْهُfrom سَيِّـَٔاتِهِۦhis evil deeds وَيُعْظِمْand make great لَهُۥٓfor him أَجْرًا(his) reward۝٥ Āyah 5

أَسْكِنُوهُنَّlodge them مِنْ[from] where حَيْثُ[from] where سَكَنتُمyou dwell مِّن(out) of وُجْدِكُمْyour means وَلَاand (do) not تُضَآرُّوهُنَّharm them لِتُضَيِّقُوا۟to distress عَلَيْهِنَّ[on] them وَإِنand if كُنَّthey are أُو۟لَٰتِpregnant حَمْلٍpregnant فَأَنفِقُوا۟then spend عَلَيْهِنَّon them حَتَّىٰuntil يَضَعْنَthey deliver حَمْلَهُنَّtheir burden فَإِنْthen if أَرْضَعْنَthey suckle لَكُمْfor you فَـَٔاتُوهُنَّthen give them أُجُورَهُنَّtheir payment وَأْتَمِرُوا۟and consult بَيْنَكُمamong yourselves بِمَعْرُوفٍwith kindness وَإِنbut if تَعَاسَرْتُمْyou disagree فَسَتُرْضِعُthen may suckle لَهُۥٓfor him أُخْرَىٰanother (women)۝٦ Āyah 6

لِيُنفِقْlet spend ذُوowner of ample means سَعَةٍowner of ample means مِّنfrom سَعَتِهِۦhis ample means وَمَنand (he) who قُدِرَis restricted عَلَيْهِon him رِزْقُهُۥhis provision فَلْيُنفِقْlet him spend مِمَّآfrom what ءَاتَىٰهُallah has given him ٱللَّهُallah has given him لَاallah does not burden يُكَلِّفُallah does not burden ٱللَّهُallah does not burden نَفْسًاany soul إِلَّاexcept مَآ(with) what ءَاتَىٰهَاhe has given it سَيَجْعَلُallah will bring about ٱللَّهُallah will bring about بَعْدَafter عُسْرٍhardship يُسْرًاease۝٧ Āyah 7
