الطلاق

وَكَأَيِّنand how many مِّنof قَرْيَةٍa town عَتَتْrebelled عَنْagainst أَمْرِ(the) command رَبِّهَا(of) its lord وَرُسُلِهِۦand his messengers فَحَاسَبْنَٰهَاso we took it to account حِسَابًاan account شَدِيدًاsevere; وَعَذَّبْنَٰهَاand we punished it عَذَابًاa punishment نُّكْرًاterrible۝٨ Āyah 8

فَذَاقَتْso it tasted وَبَالَ(the bad) consequence أَمْرِهَا(of) its affair وَكَانَand was عَٰقِبَةُ(the) end أَمْرِهَا(of) its affair خُسْرًاloss۝٩ Āyah 9

أَعَدَّallah has prepared ٱللَّهُallah has prepared لَهُمْfor them عَذَابًاa punishment شَدِيدًاsevere فَٱتَّقُوا۟so fear allah ٱللَّهَso fear allah يَٰٓأُو۟لِىo men of understanding ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِo men of understanding ٱلَّذِينَthose who ءَامَنُوا۟have believed قَدْindeed أَنزَلَallah has sent down ٱللَّهُallah has sent down إِلَيْكُمْto you ذِكْرًاa message۝١٠ Āyah 10

رَّسُولًاa messenger يَتْلُوا۟reciting عَلَيْكُمْto you ءَايَٰتِ(the) verses ٱللَّهِ(of) allah مُبَيِّنَٰتٍclear لِّيُخْرِجَthat he may bring out ٱلَّذِينَthose who ءَامَنُوا۟believe وَعَمِلُوا۟and do ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِrighteous deeds مِنَfrom ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِthe darkness[es] إِلَىtowards ٱلنُّورِthe light وَمَنand whoever يُؤْمِنۢbelieves بِٱللَّهِin allah وَيَعْمَلْand does صَٰلِحًاrighteous deeds يُدْخِلْهُhe will admit him جَنَّٰتٍ(into) gardens تَجْرِىflow مِنfrom تَحْتِهَاunderneath it ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُthe rivers خَٰلِدِينَabiding فِيهَآtherein أَبَدًاforever قَدْindeed أَحْسَنَallah has (granted) good ٱللَّهُallah has (granted) good لَهُۥprovision for him رِزْقًاprovision for him۝١١ Āyah 11

ٱللَّهُallah ٱلَّذِى(is) he who خَلَقَcreated سَبْعَseven سَمَٰوَٰتٍheavens وَمِنَand of ٱلْأَرْضِthe earth مِثْلَهُنَّ(the) like of them يَتَنَزَّلُdescends ٱلْأَمْرُthe command بَيْنَهُنَّbetween them لِتَعْلَمُوٓا۟that you may know أَنَّthat ٱللَّهَallah عَلَىٰ(is) on كُلِّevery شَىْءٍthing قَدِيرٌall powerful وَأَنَّand that ٱللَّهَallah قَدْindeed أَحَاطَencompasses بِكُلِّall شَىْءٍthings عِلْمًۢا(in) knowledge۝١٢ Āyah 12
